Super happy , very easy to install, the temperature cold down

Good stuff
The insulation is thick but not to thick. The hot sun beating on the garage with the new insulation has greatly reduced the heat in our garage. Yes you have to cut it to fit but it's well worth it. Great stuff.

Easy install, added white gorilla tape for extra hold
To sum it up for the quick glance, this product is great and if it’s falling out of your doors with or without gorilla tape you either have the wrong doors or you installed it wrong! For a more in depth review keep reading...I read a lot of reviews saying that they are disappointed as to how well this product holds up when using their garage doors. If you install it correctly on the right door(per the description, with channels in the door) it will work fine. I did insulated two doors with two of these kits in about 1.5 hours(without the final taping, which took more time than installing the insulation but worth it for both appearance and strength). Watch the install video and you will have no problems.Road noise is gone and as my master bedroom is above my garage I have already heard my air conditioner running significantly less. I cannot wait to see what happens in the winter time.A couple of tips for install:1)When you cut the panels to size, per the video, leave at least an extra inch both horizontally and vertically for a snug fit. This is the case when insulating walls, I only say that because most people have never insulated walls before and it is important to help hold insulation in place until either you cover the insulation or attach backing to the studs.2)Don’t worry about measuring the placement of the pins when sticking them to the door. Eye ball it in the middle of each half panel. Exact measurements are over kill.3)When placing the pin on the door line them all so the gap in the pin is horizontal. For reason see tip #5.4)After placing the insulation panel in before cutting horizontally per my previous tip, make sure to push the whole insulation panel upward. Gravity pushes things down so to keep the panel in if you push it slightly upward then cut horizontally on the back pin it will help keep the panel under the top channel better. This does help keep the panel in place when the doors are in operation.5)Per the install video it says cut an “X” to push the pin through the insulation. I suggest after setting the pin per the above tip #3 cut a single small cut horizontally. This will make it easier to push the connecting pin on so the vinyl doesn’t get caught in the pin for a secure connection.6)Finally, add 2 rolls of 3” wide white gorilla tape to your cart(3 if doing two doors, it takes about 1.5 rolls at 25yds per door). This will take a couple more hours of install time and cost about another $50 but it will make the project look cleaner and will add extra strength to the panel install. These will be on here for a lifetime now.All in all, glad I bought this and my only complaint would be include larger latex gloves for install. I ripped those up putting them on, large hands are a blessing and a curse ;-)

WORK AS ADVERTISED, REDUCES NOISE AND INSULATES
I tried a few cheap Styrofoam solutions that were very time consuming and labor intensive - none of which resolved the problems of blocking outside heat and cold from effecting temperature inside the garage. This solution from Owens-Corning may seem a bit pricy but is not when you factor in all the time and materials of other products. It installs as easy as it says, and just plain works.I like others opted to use additional edge tape to insure no sag down the line. It was about forty minutes to install on the first door of two, after having the experience of one door behind me, the second took about 25 minutes.Outside temp 78 FSunlight direct on garage doors temp 111 FInside garage 84FTemp on inside garage door insulation panel 86 FI highly recommend this as a solution to creating a thermal barrier on the garage doors

Missing pieces
Ordered the double set. Fist side of the door went up fairly easy. Opened the second box and did not have any of their connecting parts. Buying the parts isn’t an option and no customer service until Monday so I don’t want to use my garage while the minimal weight is imbalanced.
