Will this spring allow the rgb led whip wire to be fed through the the bottom of the spring bracket which has a 1/2" x 20 female thread?

Yes. There is a filler in there which you can punch out with a screwdriver. Do note that many models of LED whips have a quick disconnect for power in-line of the power cable. The quick disconnect connectors may not fit through the hole on the spring base. Hope this helps.

Will this work with a regular 1/2" fiberglass whip antenna?

As long as your antenna has the same thread pattern yes.

1/2 base hole way to big is there an adapter I can use to make it work , most CB antenna are 3/8

You can consider purchasing a pushing to make the two thread sizes work. The one on our spring base is 1/2" 20 thread. Hope this helps.
