Feels good in my hands, simple and stunning artwork, of course classic stories. I've purchased two copies. One for the children's house and one for my house. That way their parents can read it to them and when they visit me, I can read it to them. One less thing to schlep from one home to the other. Buy it. You'll be pleased. I loved this book, LOVED. Wasnt preachy, all about family, just cute simple stories. We read 2 stories a day for like week and a half. Great hardcover, great price, quality. Reading for our almost 3.5 year old. I would gift this, age 3 and up. Toddler loved it. I know she doesnt grasp alot of it but we both enjoyed this. I wish there was more books out there like this. I bought on sale brand new 15 bucks canadian, 4 books and multiple stories within each book. Also SAHM, homeschooling future mom, hobby farm mom. Love the nature books.Other fantastic books we have "I think I can" train book (great life lesson), Britta Tellencamp (Moon/Ocean/Bee) books, To the moon and back, Why Giraffes cant Dance etc... but for bigger lengthier books this would be my top so far. Otherwise I have cute really old Disney stories "goody tends the garden" "scamp to the rescue" type books. But I would like more of this, specially a series. Our next will be starting the "Sophie mouse" chapter books so we will see how it goes and eventually I want to buy Mercy Watson. I like animal books, not preachy, not all about family, not cheesy, not ALL life lessons. Im not intrigued by what most ppl like. Not interested in Ivy and Bean or whatever that is, Princess in Black... Anyway... regardless of what we like.Id buy this, id gift this, if I lost this book or infant wrecks it, I would repurchase it.

Beautifully made, soft wonderful kind stories. Recommend everybody of any age.

La lectura es hermosa, son relatos graciosos e inocentes y ayudan mucho a los niños a practicar el ingles. Mi niña tiene 9 años y le sirven mucho para practicar el idioma y aprender nuevas palabras. A mi tambien me han hecho reir! los recomiendo ampliamente. Llegaron super bien sin ningun daño.
