Culligan UB-1 Mounting Bracket with Screws

This mounting bracket worked great for my Watts WH-LD premier whole house filter system. It fit securely on the wall holding the filter system in place for easy filter change.

A real life-saver when replacing cartridges in my whole-house filter unit. I ordered this bracket for use with my new WATTS WH-LD unit and it's a perfect fit. I mounted it to my basement wall, drilling into the blocks and installing anchors, and using the included screws this thing works great. It sure does take a lot of weight off of the pipes, and the filter unit is rather heavy when full. It allows you to unscrew the filter housing easily, and with no strain on the pipes at all. PERFECT solution to an old problem!!

Could be a bit beefier but works good.

This Bracket is essential to take the weight and torque of replacing filters off of the plumbing itself. If you choose to install your filter without this Bracket or something similar to hold the filter assembly in place, be prepared for future leaks because of the added stress on the plumbing when you twist off the canister to replace the filter. This is a cost effective, solution to the problem. Does the job and does it well. Moreover. because the filter supports the plumbing fittings entering and exiting the filter, it will work with most any Whole House Filter --- regardless of manufacturer. I used it on a Watts, and it worked perfectly.

even though it is Culligan brand it will work with eh Watts WH-LD Premier Whole House Filter System, although included are 4 pan head screws, if you need it to mount to cinder block, you will need a couple of Tap-Cons available, 1 1/2 are fine, I used two and it is rock solid. Update: make sure you wrap pipe thread tape about three times around the male end fitting, then tighten snugly against bracket, the bracket will not allow the fitting to tighten completely so a tiny 1 drop a day drip developed on mine. (Chinese water torture).
