After finding some fairly consistent fixes to my magnetic bet to produce successful prints, it just seemed to stop working no matter how many fixes I tried. After reading reviews of this glass bed, and watching some YouTube videos on the best practices for my Ender 3, I dropped the $10 to get this shipped ASAP. First, due to the thickness of the plate, I had to tighten down my springs further which actually added stability to the leveling between prints. I experimented with heat settings and print speeds and found a pretty good balance to get successful prints almost every time. Bed temp up to 55, speed for first level down to 90%, then up to 100 afterwards, and PLA temps according to the optimal settings provided by the mfg. Occasionally cleaning with isopropyl alcohol, but only re-leveling every 3-4 prints (unless I had to violently remove the print object - see below)Only one real complaint, the solid bed is so adherent, it's almost impossible to remove the print if it has any significant surface area - the little dragon in my pic has some very fine detail and small parts, and these almost broke due to the pressure of removing. For large prints, like the board game elements in my third pic, I actually removed the plate from the printer, ran cold water down the back side, then used the spatula to pry the corners up gently until the full adherent surface popped off. This usually requires re-leveling afterwards, once I put the glass plate back on.Even with this slight inconvenience, I am extremely happy with the way this has improved my success rate over the flexible magnetic and default shipped surfaces for this printer.

I bought this bed plate to have an alternative to the stock option from Creality which left a rough surface on the bottoms of prints. There is some texture to this bed that shows through on prints, but the surface is smooth to the touch. Unlike some other glass beds that I've seen, such as that on the Ultimaker S5 we use at work, I found that I needed to use glue stick to get good adhesion to the print surface, a lot of prints failed after the first few layers without any adhesive.If using glue stick is a deal breaker, avoid this bed, but otherwise it is a good way to have a smoother surface on a build plate.

I prefer these glass beds over a magnetic glass bed since in my opinion the adhesion is much better and they are durable

I have tried a number of different print bed types. Plain glass with hairspray is one way that works very well, but even more so, I've found these borosilicate glass beds from Creality to be simply awesome! I almost never get a failed print with this bed, even when I don't clean it for months.To be clear, the one I bought here is as a backup / replacement for the one I'm currently using, which is identical. These beds do seem to lose "sticking power" over time, i.e., after 1-2 years of fairly heavy use. I could physically feel that my original bed had lost some of its textured feel when prints started failing on it. Bought a new one, and right back into virtually no failed print mode again. Bought this one for use a year or so down the road if/when the same thing happens again, although I'm purposeful now about moving my prints around on the bed to distribute wear instead of just letting everything default to the center of the print area, so it may be a LONG time before I need to use this replacement bed.NOTES:* I am using a Creality Ender 3v2 printer.* I'm only printing PLA, so I can't say how it would work with other materials.* I have a CR-Touch bed leveling system, so I have REALLY good first layer control, which helps with adhesion. I can't recommend a CR-Touch or BL-Touch bed leveling system enough - soooooo worth the cost!!* I have upgraded springs for my printer bed that seem to hold level much better than the original Creality springs - I only level my bed about once every month or two. Another inexpensive upgrade I highly recommend!

Well packaged as with most Creality products. Fits the ender bed perfectly and conducts heat very well. My nylon prints went down first time with a little help from a watered down PVA
