Great for Creative Workflows
I do a lot of photo and video editing, and this laptop handles 4K footage like it's nothing. The screen is super vibrant and accurate too - perfect for color grading.

no charging issue
Today all of a sudden the chromebook wouldnt charge. The power cable was good but the led wont turn on. So we opened the back of the chromebook, disconencted the power source, disconnected the battery connection for 10sec and the plugged the laptop power back in and the LED went on. we put back the setup and the laptop screen turned on. sometimes just a hard restart on the battery does the job. this is a common issue with chromebook, thanks to two youtube videos combined we were able to fix the chromebook.overall very happy with the chromebook for school age kids.

Happy with this. A Great value
I bought this for a relative who is a senior citizen. The touchscreen was important because that person is not fluid with using a mouse. With the touchscreen controls on here, you barely have to use the trackpad or a mouse, really. It also boots up super fast. I didn't need anything power intensive because the person using this would only be using it to watch Youtube videos, make Whatpsapp audio and video calls, and to Zoom from time to time. So far, so good. I like that this has more than 1 USB port. We use the USB-C port for a USB to ethernet adapter. Video calls are even more stable using ethernet on this. Both wifi and ethernet connections work as expected. This works well folded into tablet form, too. All in all, this feels like a fantastic, cost-effective purchase for my needs. I may grab one for myself as a full Windows laptop replacement for long trips.

Careful with Used Amazon Electronics *Edited
Product was excellent other than the fact that it consistently locked up at screen "Determining Device Configuration", claiming it couldn't access my wifi. When entering as a guest and verifying the connection multiple times, the product still fails to fully turn on or recognize the internet connection at this step. Power wash hasn't changed anything about this situation, currently downloading to create a chromeos recovery stick and attempt that. Be very careful buying used electronics from Amazon, have had luck in the past with some phones but this is a bigger deal.*EDIT; The chromebook needed a fair amount of work to get into proper, functional order, but the work was worth it, as this is an excellent device. Ultimately, I did have to roll down the street to pursue the step where I tried connecting to other wifi and that's what did it. Lesson learned, hope my pain saves you some.

Lasts Through Kids
I’ve had this laptop for almost 2 years. My kids have sat on it, bent the hinges, spilled stuff on it, gotten sticky food on it. It still works great! I don’t recommend trying all that out but if you do have kids just know that this laptop is a good option. I use it as a personal computer, mostly just google apps. My kids watch YouTube on it.

Very good for very limited tasks
For me, this was an emergency replacement for my previous laptop that died the week I started grad school (with no money). Good for email, word processing, and YouTube. We made it through. The cons- no HDMI port, no CD/DVD drive, no capability for any type of gaming whatsoever (can't support java, can't download steam, not compatible with any games in the Playstore despite their listed tech requirements), very annoying interface at times with specific apps that it can just barely claim to run (Netflix, Zoom, Skype)... Also, it doesn't have a caps lock? Lol. And it doesn't have a delete key, so when you need to ctrl-alt-delete you really just have to hold the power button for 10 seconds and start from scratch. Oh and horrible grainy 2004 camera quality on this thing too. I'm in a major that requires recording videos often and there's just no way around that part.
