it works great and doesn't waste strap - they just haven't figured ...
This tensioner is a DREAM to use. I've strapped dozens of boxes with it.Contrary to what other reviewers say, it works great and doesn't waste strap - they just haven't figured out how to use it efficiently.Which is probably due to the fact that the person who wrote the instructions has NO facility with the English language: the instructions are practically useless. But, once you figure out how to use the tensioner, it works perfectly. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the worthless instructions. Also, one reviewer mentioned it didn't "tighten the buckles". That's NOT what this tool does. It tensions and cuts the strap after it's sealed and crimped. You need a different tool to apply metal seals to the strap and crimp them while this tool has it under tension.

LOVE IT !
Does what its supposed to do and very easy to use. It was my first time ever using a strapping tool and I was able to figure it out easily with a little trial and error. The instructions provided don't help haha.

Don't follow instructions in box......bad translation....use these (From description on Amazon)
Like I stated in the headline...use these instructions....HOW TO STRAPPING1. Squeeze the handle to lift the gripping jaw2. Thread the free end of the strap through the back of the tool under the gripping jaw, leaving approximately 1″ of overhang front of the tool.3. Wrap the strap around the load4. Take the end of the strap still attaching to the coil and thread it through the cutter housing and the shaft slot5. Swing the handle to tension the strap6. Place seal on both straps and using the sealer to crimp7. Squeeze the handle to cut the strapWorked like a champ!! Very little waste and all was in the overhang from the clamp, so not bad at all.
