Many Colors!
Smartart gel bens came with lots of beautiful colors. They perform very smoothly when I color in any one of my books. I'm having quite a bit of fun deciding what color to use since there are so many selections. I have not had a problem with any color smearing nor any gloppy flow problems. They are very smooth and have lasted me quite well since I use them so often.

Good pens, a few small problems
Most of the pens worked right out of the box. Most of the colors are vibrant, roll on easily and fill an area nicely. Some colors look identical until the ink dries on the page - then the subtle differences are visible to my eye. Only 3 of the 80 don't work very well: 1-3 (orange-yellow glitter), 1-14 (white glitter), 3-4 (pink milky?) (see attached photos for reference). The pens aren't labeled in any way, so I assigned a pen number to each one, and made a chart for each tray showing the color and pen number. For example, the left-most pen in the top tray is labeled "1-1" (tray 1, pen 1), the fourth pen from the left in the third tray is labeled "3-4", etc. I've attached photos of my labeling scheme, mostly so the company can take note of which pens didn't work well, in case it's an issue with that particular ink or that particular production line. I haven't colored anything fun yet, but I am looking forward to pulling out my mandala coloring book and getting started!

Decent Gel Pens
Not Gelly Rolls by any stretch of the imagination, but these are good pens that are fairly consistent with a wide range of colors. I use them for my school work, and will go through a color in a single day of taking notes. Some of the inks do tend to last longer than others, but that’s likely due to flow. I don’t experience as many air bubbles in these as I do with some other brands, so that’s a positive. These would be great for people who like to do those intricate coloring books. Overall, I’ll probably check for these again when I start getting low next time.

Pens are junk.
Do not buy these. They color patchy and you have to scribble constantly to try get them work flow is also patchy not consistent.

They do not work well.
I had high hopes for these with the reviews! Great looking set, great price, liked the color selection. The first two I used did not work at all. Even after tapping lightly on paper. The third worked but it skipped , not a steady flow of ink. I use gel pens daily . Have tried many brands and am acquainted with how they should work. Bought them on Prime day, great price but upon use very poor performance. I cannot recommend these as the more I try them the more I find quite a few do not work correctly on lay down, or even trying to write or color with them. Disappointed.
