You know what it's going to do, and you know how to get it to do what is does.It's a small but hot flame, essentially a large butane cigarette lighter that uses the same fuel as those lighters and which is readily available and cheap. See my video.I bought it to replace those long-nosed kitchen-grill-barbecue-butane-lighter things with the triggers. They don't last very long and put out a silly little flame to light birthday candles with. Any poof of wind blows them out, they aren't hot, and they stop working just when you need them.This thing is hot, wind resistant, easy to operate, too small for some things but big enough for many things.I use it to ignite the tender in my fire ring fire, or the fireplace. I don't need paper.

Honestly, best bank for your buck when it comes to a budget friendly culinary torch. This is the 3rd one I have purchased and the other 2 are going strong after almost 2 years. Highly recommend

Good value for an item that you may only use occasionally

Works well and is easy to use

This is an ok little torch that I got as a gift. Certainly not pro grade, but fine for kitchen use. The main issue I have is that I have several standard brands of gas to fill up my other gas powered devices like lighters, soldering irons etc. They come with multiple tip adapters. I’ve tried all the tips from those supply cans, as well as no tip at all. None of them fit and I end up with a frustrating mess of gas leaking everywhere and frozen fittings and hands. Then I tried the tips that come with this torch and none of those fit the standard gas bottles. So, it’s partially filled and not really used because of that.There must be a solution, but for me it was certainly not ready to go out of the box.

Quality is better then I expected & works great

It arrived on time, that doesn't matter when the igniter doesn't work! You must have your friends writing the recent reviews because I should have gone with my gut feeling and purchased a different product. True to my feelings, it turns out the igniter doesn't work! Whether the adjuster is on its lowest or highest setting, nothing!
