These LED bulbs are very Socket dependant ... Love or Hate Them
When the bulb seats properly in the socket .. 5 stars! When it doesn't, it does not!In several night-light sockets the bulb seated normally. In several other sockets the bulb's base (tip of the Edison screw in base) could not make contact without seriously risking breaking the bulb. The root of the problem appears to be while older bulbs have a tip with steeper sides which allow the tip to make contact easily, and the newer LED bulbs tip had a more flattened tip area that blocks contact because the socket has little interior walls that block full screw-in and thus contact. This problem I saw in wired window Christmas lights and in some sockets provided with ceramic Christmas houses. The cure is to scrape away some of the plastic ridges at the bottom of the socket using a narrow bladed sharp knife. Only a little plastic needs to be removed.Standards and standards. And both the bulb maker and the socket makers are at fault. But I really do like the look ... once one gets it to light up!

Base is too short
When I put these in the window candles I've had for years - with dozens of traditional bulbs - not a single one worked. Comparing them to the working bulb, the screw-in base is much shorter and the bottom of the bulb bottoms out on the candle body before the base can screw in far enough to reach the power.

This .5 watt LED light bulb was perfect for my Salt Rock Lamp!
My new Salt Rock Lamp came with a 20 watt incandescent lamp. I saw two problems; the rock was too HOT and too bright. Cracks are forming and the salt is melting, leaving salt deposits on the table. This heat problem is damaging the rock, its base and the table. A Salt Rock Lamp, in my opinion, should be used more as a night light or for decoration, it’s not designed to be used as a major source of light. To me, an intense bright glow in the center of the rock is not aesthetically pleasing This .5 watt LED solved both of my problems. It gives the rock a soft uniform glow, and its barely warm. I gave these bulbs a 5 star rating because they arrived on time, they’re packed well, and all 6 bulbs worked as described.

Poor Quality Control
Out of a box of six bulbs, one arrived with a broken shell, another was electrically DOA, and another is extremely dim to the point of uselessness. When these work, they're fine. Brighter than the old 7-watt incandescent and I'm sure more thrifty to run. But I paid for HALF a box that didn't work! Better quality control on the production line? Better shipping protection? Something. Caveat Emptor.

Not great ambiance
Emits a unpleasant greenish light. Not sure how these are 2700K.

Perfect for an inflatable decoration
The original incandescent bulbs in one of my Christmas inflatable decorations burned out. These LED versions should last much longer, as changing them within the inflatable was not easy, so I hope I don't have to replace them again.

Bright white color lights
We received 6 bulbs. Four exceeded our expectations. Bright light and bright white color compared to my old ones. And only 1/2 watt instead of 7 (that the old ones were!).TWO do not work.
