Well written story about diversity
I bought this for my five year old and he seems to like it a lot. The narrative focuses on a dragon and dinosaur who don’t get on as they feel they are too different. The story ends with a well written conclusion about diversity, in an easy to understand manner for young children. The illustrations are nicely presented too.

great tools for reconciliation too
We really enjoyed this story, as well as giving us a leaping off point to discuss differences in race and ability it gave some brilliant reconciliation tools for when friendships strain.

Not as expected
A little too complicated for the real message to reach little ones.

Enjoyable for 6yo & effective delivery of message
Very good book and much needed to help kids learn acceptance of differences, especially nowadays with constant news of racism globally. My 6yo was engaged, especially enjoyed the flow of the rhyming story, and was able to understand the lesson easily. Thank you, Steve Herman, for creating enjoyable age appropriate stories that deliver such important messages ❤️

A Gentle Way to teach a sensitive topic to young children!
This book is an excellent way to teach very young children how to embrace diversity in a lighthearted age-appropriate way. The colorful illustrations and characters (dragon, unicorn, and a dinosaur) make it a fun read. Children will learn all the ways people are different through food, music, and appearance. The main character Diggory-Doo is always learning new things, and he is adorable!

Kids are really responding well!
I am a mental health therapist who is working with kiddos through video telepsych due to Covid 19 social distance restrictions. I use my kindle reader and I am able to present this book as an option for my young clients to have me read it to them or we have also taken turns reading to one another. The response of having a Unicorn, a Dragon and a Dinosaur friendship has been very positive and I enjoy using these books to expand my client's awareness about different ways to look at things! I highly recommend this book!

Love all of these books!
My son loves every one of these books! I have trouble getting him to read, but he's always happy to pick up one of these and read it start to finish. The art style is cute and the messages in them are made simple enough for kids to grasp. I highly recommend!
