OMG! I will always use this butter.

Originally purchased this for my boyfriend for muscle soreness. I am not new to unrefined butters/oils, but he was, and I thought he might be a bit squeamish about the mushy consistency and odor, which I initially even found challenging to tolerate. Mixing about 1/2 stick of cocoa butter and numerous drops of EO blend into the 4 oz jar makes it harder/cleaner and the texture still smooth, silky and easy to melt in your hands to apply. The EO only clashed with the odor, but it dissipates quickly after use, so that became a non-factor and perhaps a waste of time. The BF said this mixture did help the muscles and it also somewhat eased my pain from a shoulder injury, but the 5 stars is mostly due to its affects on my hair, which was shamefully dry. Hair turned out soft and much smoother following just one use, and rendered it super shiny, more so than argan, wheat germ, or mongongo / manketti oils. Also great for my split / cracked fingers following a climbing trip. Way impressed.

Plus side: This is great butter, Works fantastic in preparations for curly hair. Smells and feels very authentic to my experience with other sellers. However, the jar I received was not full to the top ( about a 1/4 down from the top).I'm concerned I did not get the weight I paid for, but without a product scale I can not verify.

MY FAV Of all the butters. This is the real deal. One ingredient straight from the jungle. As are all the butters from this company. I won’t buy butters from anywhere else
