I so badly wanted to love this because I'm sick of trying to carrying or store a water bottle for the dogs, my phone, keys, and dog waste bags, and hold the leash. I first couldn't get it to stay in place and the bottle was pulling it loose making it so the bottle bobbed around. After a bit the bottle actually fell out. I emptied the bottle to see if this would help keep it in place and it still rode up. This bag is awesome and has the exact type of storage I'm wanting, but can't do the most important, get that dog water bottle out of my hands and stay in place!Also I tried to tighten the bungee around the water bottle and it broke. I had a fully functional product for all of an hour. If they can figure out the bottle holder and strap this would be my perfect product.Close, but no cigar.

I love the feel and look of this pack and the price is unbeatable. If you just use a water bottle, it's a perfect pack. However, if you use a thermos, it can be a challenge to fit it in the holder. I struggle so much to get my 12 oz thermos to fit that it's not worth using it while hiking because I just get too frustrated taking the thermos in and out while walking. If the water carrier portion was a little wider, it would be perfect.

I like to keep moving on my walks when I build up a head of steam. A lot of my walking is up and down steep hills. There was a lot of "dealing with" the ErgaLogic Waist Pack while I was on my walk; it was annoying. I ended up taking it off and throwing it into a garbage can because it was too frustrating and bothersome to deal with.The first problem I had with this is when my 24 ounce Hydro Flask wouldn't fit deep enough into the water container pouch. It's 11 inches tall to the top of the handle-cap; it's 2 ¾"in diameter. It just felt like the exposed part was sticking out too far - flopping around and going to pitch out of the pouch. There's a tightening loop to try & hold it secure, but it was just too top-heavy in the shallow pouch. It made every stride go off-balance to try and accommodate the flopping. There was also a fair amount of finagling involved in pulling it out, and then loosening the tightener cable, fussing it back into the shallow pouch, and then trying to re-tighten the little cable wrap tightener thing. I'd rather just pull my drink container out, take a sip, and then drop it back into the pouch. I couldn't do it, and it was annoying trying to deal with the process of putting it back after I'd taken a sip. I'm out to walk, not stop and putz around with this thing every time I need a drink.The other problem I had was, it didn't stay tight around my waist. There's a clip, and a little pull-the-band-through-the-loop thing that's supposed to maintain the tightness when the belt is clipped together. It kept coming loose. I'd keep walking with it sinking down lower and lower on my hips. Then I'd have to stop, remove my water bottle and set it somewhere, un-clasp the belt clip, re-tighten the band, put it back on, fiddle with the water pouch, and try to resume my interrupted walk. I tried turning it to different positions on my waist. I tried learning to tighten it as I was walking. Nothing worked. It was hugely frustrating to have this thing constantly coming loose and falling down. I don't want something where I always have to break stride, remove & adjust it, re-clasp it, and then try to walk a little further before it starts slipping down again.Eventually, halfway through my first walk with this thing, I was so frustrated that I was happy to lose the purchase price just so I didn't have to deal with it any more. I chucked it into a garbage container along the street. I carried my Hydro Flask in my hands for the remainder of my walk. I was glad to be rid of the difficult and unworkable ErgaLogik Waist Pack.I just want something low-tech, user-friendly, and easy to deal with. I think the ErgaLogik is over-thought, where it should just be simple and easy to use. Put it on and forget about it. There was so much clipping, tightening, adjusting, and putzing around that it just didn't work for me. Last thing I want is a high-maintenance fanny pack.

I gave this 4 stars because, while it is built like it will last a long time and still light materials, the waist strap does not stay where you adjust it to. It loosens often. I had to tie it in a knot to keep it in place.

I bought this bag to go hands-free while hiking. It works perfectly. It's light-weight, holds my water bottle or an average water bottle with ease, also great for holding my car keys and android phone. Great buy.

Perfect for outdoor activities and walking my dog. Had this for two months and so far works great. Love all the pockets in this. I own a large cellphone and that fits here perfectly with a lot of extra room.

While it's well-made, room for the ipod/iphone/etc and your keys. Sadly, the belt part isn't really very long. Guess it's made for smaller people. :( I'll be needing to sew in some extra webbing to lengthen it before I'll be able to use it.

Love this Day Trekker. I has two deep zippered pouches and a bottle holder. It is lightweight but well made and sturdy. This was a great buy for the price. I purchased the grey, but it comes in different colors. Highly recommend.
