You can use all types of abrasive. However, it isn't made for high volume blasting so very course grits probably aren't ideal.

It eased my time! Clogged and I couldn’t get the clog out even blowing high pressure!!

Q: what nozzel would I get for blasting silicone carbide?

The Roctec tip we offer is ultimately the best in the industry which can be used with this system. Simply unscrew the nozzle holder and change the ceramic with it. Depending on how often you blast, it can hold up for years on a single nozzle. Although it is expensive, the cost per use saves money in the long run.
