I had similar item sold by QVC made by Sears! Used them for over 20 years until the no longer sharpened. This is a comparable brand - works just the same.

I have 4 of these and have bought another 5 or 6 as presents. I keep one tucked into the pouch on my leatherman, one in my truck, another in my hunting pack and the last in my shop. Nothing puts a coarse edge on a blade quite like this sharpener. I have been buying these since 2002 and cant say enough how good they are. I race sail boats and nothing dulls a blade like cutting kevlar or dynema. The coarse mini-sharp takes 4 or 5 swipes and the blade is as sharp as can be. If you want to fine hone blades or chisels, you may want to look at the combo medium-fine, but for field work, you would be sorely mistaken to chose any other sharpener. Its tiny, folded about 3.5 inches, very light and with the key chain attachment can be lashed anywhere. Cant say enough good things about this product. When one wears out (which takes quite a while), I don't hesitate to just buy another as the price is attractive. I tend to wash them with warm water every couple of months or as fine build up accumulates in the pores.

Had trouble with shipping. They sent me a replacement right away. Great tool to keep on you for sharpening hand tools on the spot. I use it mostly for handheld pruners/small knives.

These are great for carrying in your wallet, just detach the sharpener from the clear plastic and put the sharpener in your wallet then you always have a nice little sharpener with you.I carry this blue one and the red one and I also carry the sog access card knife in my wallet and so I always have a sharp knife with me.

I got this for my daily carry, its coarse but not so much that it leaves micro burs on the blade. I used it probably 15 times so far and I only gave it 4 stars because the back side of the flip part hits the knife as you drag it by lifting it off the stone, I shaved it down so its good now.Great little sharpener...

I bought this and a few others with the idea that i would use them on hunting trips if my knives got dull. They work well and you can tune up the "ol' pig sticker" in no time. I bought two course sharpeners and two fine sharpeners. This way i can have a razor sharp edge if the need would arise. I might need to come off the mountain for a shin-dig at the town saloon and need to show up clean shaven ;-) With these, i can do that!

A replacement for one I have used for ten years that was worn out. A very useful tool for garden tools. Will buy extra coarse next time.

These are excellent sharpeners! Effective and good value, and easy to use for most blade types that I possess. I use both coarse and fine.

Buon prodotto. Molto ruvido, morde bene l'acciaio.Un difettino del manico: i bordini solo più alti di un mezzo millimetro della parte abrasiva, per ciò non è sfruttabile la parte della pietra vicino al manico, ma con un semplice taglierino, basta abbassare quel bordo tagliandone la parte superiore e tutto è apposto.Aggiornamento dopo 6 anni di utilizzo sporadico:ha perso tutta la parte abrasiva nella zona centrale. Cosa molto strano perché un altro modello vecchio (rosso) di 20 anni è sempre in ottimo stato. Ora provo a farlo passare in garanzia.
