I like this product. It can reach a relatively fast speed for when it is very hot but like most fans it started blowing hot air eventually. I like that you can have it on your desk horizontally and vertically. I am selling however as there are so many better options for fans, especially at this price point. £44 was not worth it! Another gripe I had was that no matter how I positioned the airbar, it would always rattle in places to the point where I couldn't ignore. The light feature was a little underwhelming, two settings one brighter than the other.

The plastic metal construction felt flimsy and lacked the sturdiness I would expect from a desk fan. This made the fan prone to wobbling and vibrating during operation, which was both distracting and concerning. The overall construction did not inspire confidence in its long-term durability.The built-in light feature, while initially appealing, proved to be more of a gimmick than a practical addition. The light was not particularly bright or useful for illuminating a workspace or providing additional functionality beyond basic aesthetics. It felt like an unnecessary feature that didn't add much value to the fan.Furthermore, the touch controls on the fan were not as responsive or intuitive as I had hoped. Adjusting the fan speed or turning on/off the light required multiple attempts, and the touch-sensitive area was not always accurate or consistent in registering touch inputs.Overall, the Airbar Tower Desk Fan with full-range tilt, 3-speed touch control, plastic metal construction, and built-in light fell short of my expectations. Its mediocre performance, flimsy build quality, underwhelming airflow, and unimpressive light function make it difficult to recommend. If you are looking for a reliable and efficient desk fan, I would suggest exploring other options that prioritize performance and durability over flashy features.

Came with an American plug, so useless in the UK. Didn’t feel great quality. Returned.

Why sell it in the UK when it's got a US plug?

Came with non-British plug. I had an adapter, so tried it anyway. Fan is loud, and material quality seems sub standard.

I had purchased this for my wife, to replace a small 120VAC van she uses. It is a bit loud, but creates good (unintentional) white noise for sleeping. I saw this fan that also had a built in light and figured it would be a great replacement for the old fan. It is much quieter, and the two speeds are great (High 423cfm, Low 240 cfm). It moves a lot of air. We enjoy the vertical and horizontal orientation options. We recently took this fan camping and it performed well. We were able to run this two night on a 120Wh power bank. I will probably purchase the 12-inch version for dedicated camping use. As expected, another quality product under the Sharper Image brand.My only complaints about this product would be the ergonomics on the buttons. There is no tactile feedback on the controls. In the dark you don't know what button of the 4 you are pushing. Easy enough to memorize I suppose, but some texture on some of the buttons or convex instead on concave shapes would have gone a long way. I think they might even be capacitive buttons, as you can operate them with zero physical contact, just a light hover of the finger.

Llegó antes de lo planeado, es bonito, potente y además no ocupa casi nada de espacio, sin mencionar que no hace demasiado ruido.Me encantó.

Excelente ventilador ,innovador , elegante, compacto , me gusto mucho mi compra cabe en todos los lugares estrechos y con su luz integrada sirve de lámpara en el cuarto de mis hijas , lastima que no es giratorio ,se puede mover manualmente para donde tu quieras y el ruido al principio se escucha levemente pero después de un rato se pierde el ruido lo recomiendo.

A good little fan that moves plenty of air for its size. Easy to change the orientation of how you want it to stand to make it fit in with your space better.

I'm probably using this tower fan for a very niche use. I have it placed horizontally behind my gaming laptop (back of laptop raised slightly) to allow cool air to get sucked into the intake fan underneath. Huge drops in temperatures than I'm used to. At least 10 degrees lower when gaming.The air coming from the Axis 16 is so powerful, my mousepad lifts up like an air hockey puck.The light is also a big bonus.My only gripe with the fan is the vibrations it emits. The rubber feet when used in horizontal placement is not quite durable enough.With that said, this fan is highly recommended. Even if you wanted to use it normally.
