Zinus Black Metal Platform Bed 120 x 190 cm

I have had this for several weeks now and am delighted to report that a previous reviewer was not a one off. This does not squeak or creak!Very easy to assemble (did it by myself whilst still recovering from a back injury with no issues whatsoever). Very sturdy and has the right amount of support. Having previously rented flats with metal bedframes that sounded on the verge of collapse as soon as just I sat on them (at 9.5 stone) and with central side legs that died of metal fatigue after only a couple if nights (solo) sleep, I really didn't want a metal one if I could help it but this one sounded and looked a lot better quality than most metal frames around. Having used it for several weeks now, I am delighted to say that it is excellent quality and absolutely way better value for money than anything else in the under £100 range.I chose this because nothing else seemed to be suitable for 2 average sized adults weight-wise. Other frames seem to assume one person will be 7stone or less. This has been perfect. The fact that I know I can easily disassemble it to move it or store it is a bonus. If I ever move again and need another bed frame for a second room, I will be looking here first.One thing to note, my delivery was in the UK and used UPS. There was a problem with access for the delivery but the driver was unable to call me because my phone number was not with the parcel (probably a data protection thing) so if there is secure access without a buzzer and intercom, you may need to contact UPS once it's showing as in the UK and ask for your number to be given to the delivery driver. It also arrived over a week earlier than Amazon's info was predicting so keep an eye on when it gets to the UK because it will arrive within a day or 2 afterwards.

Swiss army knife, literally. You would not believe that box can contain a double bed, yet it does. I've never seen any other type of furniture easyer to assemble. You really need just 2 oposable thumbs. Everything needed is in the package. Incredibly sturdy compared to the not at all bulky looks. Placed on it a very heavy orthopeadic mattress and 2 grandparents, ome of them from the heavy weight cathegory. Not even a squeak from the bed in the first usage month. Bought from Wayfair a set of zinus headboard brackets and a regular headboard. Now we have a sturdy perfect bed, woth lots of storage under it.

Easy to put together, really sturdy, massive storage space underneath - I bought quite a heavy mattress so I got floor sliders to move it around - its not too heavy, but it's a bit of a pain to move on a carpet as it has rubber feet - folds up easily - I'd highly recommend this it's really well made

Very nice. Sturdy, no noise or squeak when you move. Worth the price. :)
