I would have gave this light fixer a 0, I hate this item looks nothing like the photo. I would have returned it but my 30 days expired by the time I open the box! It’s cheap looking, not a wow factor, small and just a design that went wrong.

Cumbersome to install. Cables are too short. Screws too small and in awkward position. I connected a long cable to ceiling wiring and assembled at lower level. Had to use a metal screw to fix to base frame. Heat insulation is missing. Will not pass CSA or ESA.

la lampe est très difficile a rassembler, je n'arrive même pas a la rassembler, je ne l'est même pas encore installer, je ne sais même pas si elle fonctionne, je regrette.

I got this light fixture for my living room. It big enough to light up a good size room (mine is 18x12).Assembly was easy enough, I did it while watching tv, just take your time and do it piece by piece. It had allot of spare parts, so if you drop a nut don't get upset.Pros:1. Large and Bright2. Nice looking once up!3. quite a bit of assembly, but nothing hard.Cons:1. Instructions are not great, but you can figure it out.2. Not designed to mount to a ceiling light box. You need to screw it into the drywall/what ever you have.3. Quite dirty, had to clean the light blades, they were coated in saw dust (plastic)4. There is no way to "mount" the ballast, it just sorta sits in there, which makes it hard to hang the light while doing wiring, you need a helper.Over all, it's an pretty cool looking light, it's quite large and defuses well. The mounting bracket is not what you would usually get on the Canadian market, and the wiring is small. The little box they provided to connect to your wiring is not customary either, I would just use grommets.
