The Best Raspberry Pi so far.
If you want a headless raspberry pi this might not be the one. But if you are looking for a very portable desktopJust create a micro SD with a Linux build connect a monitor or 2 using the HDMi Micro connections, provide power and you have a very sweet setup. This Pi is very quick and most programs are very responsive. I use it to program using Visual Studio Code and the Arduino IDE for various projects. This is the easiest setup I have found so far. All you need is power monitors and maybe a unifying dongle for a mouse. Still have 2 USB 3.0 ports free and easy access to the 40 pin GPIO For headless small form factor the Raspberry Pi 4 or a zero would be a better choice. Also this one does not have the camera ribbon header but supports lots of web cams so not a huge issue.

Easy to use, amazing little machine that makes for perfect retro gaming computer.
I bought this one because I wanted to build a little retro gaming machine, and frankly, once you get Retropie running on this thing, you really don’t need anything else. Get yourself a nice controller, an extra MicroSD card with plenty of space, and you’ll have yourself the perfect retro gaming station.

All you need to add is a monitor
The Raspberry Pi 400 is a complete computer except for an HDMI monitor. The instruction manual will seem simplistic to anyone with more than rudimentary computer skills. It is written for the complete novice, but will quickly have you writing simple applications and learning basic electronics. Also great if you have an HDMI monitor or TV and want to surf the net for minimum dollars.

Very pleased with this after some negative experiences making with Raspberry Pi
This came as a pleasant surprise at a time when many sellers are gouging customers on Amazon, selling the “50 dollar” computer for 3-4 times as much. The build quality is good. And it isn’t just a regular Pi 4 force-fitted into a plastic keyboard, it boasts its own design with a large metal backing plate to sink the heat. The result is that the Pi 400 has a higher clock-speed than a regular Pi 4 and stays cool. The 4 GB RAM is ample for a desktop. The 2 USB ports are USB 3.0. Aside from use as a desktop computer, I am using it in a Home Automation project as an IoT hub and have Mosquitto MQTT, Node-RED, InfluxDB and Grafana running as services in networked docker containers. I have sensor nodes continuously sending data including image data to this hub and messages flowing to nodes that operate home appliances. I have created apps in Python 3.8 for computer vision with deep-learning and speech recognition with AI that also run in docker containers on this machine and are part of the home automation system. Lastly, I have installed software defined radio running on it for use in a mini radio station. So far, I am impressed by how much this Pi 400 can do and am thinking of buying another one.
