Works with the Brevida mask
The head strap that came with the Fisher & Paykel Brevida mask wouldn’t stay in place for me. I read a review that said the Pilairo Q headgear was compatible and thought I’d give it a try. What a difference! There were two straps in the package - a single stretchy band and a more robust two strap set up. The single strap kept sliding down and rubbing on my ears, but the full headgear stays in place nicely and doesn’t irritate me in any way. This has been a great find for me - without it the Brevida mask would have been relegated to my pile of discarded aggravating masks, but the Pilairo Q headgear makes it work!

Comfort
I use the F&P Brevida but have always hated the headgear because it slips too easily. I've tried everything as a alternative but nothing has worked... until now. This head gear with the Brevida pillows is a prefect match! Soft, secure seal with loose straps, no movement in the night. Wish I had found this year's ago.

Works on the Brevida Mask as well!
I bought this head strap not for the Pilairo mask but for the F&P Brevida mask based on my doctors recommendation. The normal head strap for the Brevida mask tends to slip forward causing air leaks in the mask. The Pilairo's mask attachments arms for the head strap are longer than the Brevida's. As a result for me the adjustable straps were still too tight at their maximum. The fold-over velcro ends of the side straps are too wide to allow further extension. I fixed this by trimming the sides of this part which allows further extension (see photo showing before and after trimming.) This gives more than an inch of extension on each side. This head strap provides more stability than the Brevida head strap which reduces mask air leaks. In addition, the adjustable top strap keeps the side straps from slipping down over the ears, a problem with the Brevida head strap. My only frustration with the Pilairo head strap is that it creates worst bed hair! But it is a worthwhile trade off.

Fits great, perfect replacement!
I bought this because my original (single) strap had become so loose after 4 years of use. When I laid them both out side-by-side, I could see that my old one was 3” longer than it once was! The new one is nice and snug.My CPAP did not originally come with the other piece in this combo purchase, which has the double strap, but I think that would’ve been really useful when my hair was long and sleek. If I grow my hair out again I will probably switch and start using that one instead.

I use this on my brevida mask
This is a great head piece for the brevida mask. I see reviews of others that have had problems with the clips. The secret is to replace the clips on this with the ones from your brevida mask. I just trim off some excess soft material around the Velcro at the end where you need to add the clip and that allows the brevida clips to go on. I have not found that trimming the excess material effects the straps in any negative way. So feel at ease about using this with the brevida. It is a HUGE improvement over the headpiece that comes with the mask.

They work but…
These work but why do I have to buy two types of head gear to get the one I want. No one sells them individually, they don’t last more than 6 month but I guess it’s the only option…

It doesn't slip!
The headgear I've been using came with my CPAP but it would slip and move while I slept making the mask (Brevida) break the seal and cause me to wake up to readjust everything. This would happen several times a night removing any sleep benefit from the CPAP. I got this headgear (yes, it's just the straps with the hooks) and my only regret is not getting it sooner. It does not slip or move around. It is easily adjustable and I am finally getting plenty of sleep. The only downside I have noticed is that the hooks don't clip on like my old headgear so they sometimes fall of the mask when I take it off. Not that big of a deal.
