DO NOT BUY!
DO NOT BUY! Terrible!!! I used to love these bulbs. But this year there have been ongoing outages when using them with Alexa. It is a Sengled problem not an Amazon problem. There was a work around with the smart Things app but that has now stopped working. And within the last few weeks they won’t even work with the Sengled App. I have about $300 in Sengled bulbs that are useless as a smart bulb. Ridiculous!

Terrible experience just trying to get their app set up to use the lightbulb
UPDATE 08/12/25 - I did finally get these bulbs to work, but they are a PITA. You constantly have to set them again in the app, and it is a struggle every single time. But now, the app won't work at all...for quite some time the bulbs are not working with Alexa. I had to reset my router, and tried to set the bulb up again, but I can't even get into the app to set it up. I will NEVER buy this brand of bulbs again. And once again, their "support" is a myth, no response at all to any questions or issues. I haven't even been able to set up this lightbulb at this point. I've been trying for 30 minutes to just get their app up and running, I've changed my password twice and STILL am unable to log into the app. When I went to their website for help, they have a support link at the bottom, which makes you think you'll get some help via chat right? NOT. Typed out my message and got a reply back that someone will be in touch soon. How exactly? Email, back in that "support" window? I have no idea, but can say I won't buy these bulbs ever again just due to this experience. I've never had this much trouble logging into an app before.

These work well, set up was relatively easy
I have owned several wi-fi smart bulbs. They all pretty much work the same. You plug them in, connect through an app, then find them in Alexa (if you are using the with Alexa). I have a bias towards only needing one app, so I prefer the Tuya / Smart Life devices so that I don't need 50 apps on my phone. That being said, I had th Singled app on my phone for another device, and these connected flawlessly. That is a plus, as sometimes I find I have to do multiple attempts when using the Tuya/Smart Life generic bulbs. The bulbs are plenty bright, and work well with Alexa. Alexa had no problems finding them and adding them to the devices. Also, I appreciate that I was able to screw in all four all bulbs to my fan/lamp at once, and did not confuse the app when it saw 4 new bulbs (as opposed to 1 at a time). I would never have dared to try that with Tuya / SmartLif.e. The bulbs are plenty bright. They respond well to Alexa commands, and work as advertised.

Trying them outside
Never works the first time setting up, I also don’t remember having to set up the Sengled app the first time I bought these. So one more app. So far it’s outside on a covered porch and it’s working as expected.

Sengled app doest work now
Worked fine for awhile but the app is non functional now. The app has been intermittently down. Amazon even sent us emails about this company having a problem a couple of times last month, but now the Sengled app doesn’t work at all. You can’t use Amazon or Google voice control unless you go through the app either. Because the app doesn’t work, the lights don’t automatically turn off and on now. If the company finally fixes the issue, I will change my review but right now don’t buy these. And I checked with another person that also has Sengled bulbs and their app doesn’t work either so it’s not just me . Also, when you go on the customer service website, they trick you into signing up for their newsletter when you think you’re gonna be emailing customer service I hate that in a company.

Convenient
Easily set up for my Alexa when purchased

Easy to use, but flickered after a year
They worked great initially, but after a year they have a little flicker to them that causes eye irratation. It persists after resetting them and even using them as normal light bulbs at full, or dimmed brightness.

No los compren!! el producto luce bien, pero el inicio del proceso de configuración es crear un usuario en su app y al tratar de hacerlo, marca un error y de ahí no pasas, por tal motivo no puedes por ningún motivo configurar los focos y utilizarlos como focos inteligentes.
