Don't attempt this
The battery is fine. The install is not. Don't be an idiot like me. Replacing the battery in these is not worth it. You will melt your airpods and screw up the connections. The soldering points are insanely tiny. I have all the right tools. Do not attempt. You have been warned. Just buy a new pair.
