Massive praise for this brilliant little device. I am a former Diva Cup user (and liker...but not lover). I also own a Blossom Cup, but I'm so happy I didn't settle and stop there, because for me, Lunette is "The One". Why? The firmness and size of the Lunette is perfect. I KNOW when it snaps open and is the right place. The Dive cup seemed like it never really got into the right position without somewhat of a struggle on my part, and while the Blossom cup is softer and didn't pinch me or feel like it was pressing too hard against something (bladder? bowel?) like the Diva did sometimes, it was too soft and "flimsy" in in structure that it was a little difficult to know if it was in the right position and opened up correctly. YMMV, and Diva or Blossom may be perfect for you, but Lunette is my Goldilpcks menstrual cup and Holy Grail. It's not too flimsy or too stiff, the size is perfect (I didn't need to trim the stem at all and I can never feel it-the Diva cup poked and felt a little uncomfortable), it opens perfectly every time, removing it is so easy-just inch the bottom the break the auction and wiggle back and forth a bit while moving it downward), I can't ever feel it inside me at all, I have NEVER had even a single leak with it (which I cannot say about Diva or Blossom), and FINALLY I understand and wholeheartedly agree with the reviews I've read where women say they can't live without their menstrual cup, and that it makes your period (and you!) so much cleaner, and that time of the month so much less messy and less of a hassle. I LOVE MY LUNETTE CUP. I chose coral because I thought it wouldn't show stains, and it hasn't so far. I am very regular, so I put it in on the morning I expect my period and am prepared, worry-free and mess and leak free always, too. THIS is what a menstrual cup should be. Get over the gross factor and do yourself a favor. It's your body! Get to know it and love it and you'll feel so much more in tune with yourself and your natural cycles. And in all honesty, using the Lunette cup is MUCH cleaner and less bloody/messy than tampons and pads (now THOSE activate MY gross-out factor!). Take the time to learn to use it properly, try out a few different folds (I prefer the C fold), go through the learning curve and I promise you may become one of us super fans, and tell every woman you know about how astoundingly awesome this little thingy is! I'm NEVER going back to tampons. Who needs to harmful toxic chemicals they are filled with, and to add to the pollution of our planet? How gross is it to step on a plastic tampon applicator on the beach?! Just quit those nasties cold turkey. Just say no! Just say Lunette! I'm 51, and have had 3 kids vaginally, but am not a large person am in fairly good shape and do not have a low cervix if that helps anyone. Lunette is awesome about making sure you have received the correct size and will make it right if you didn't. I got the one they recommended for women over 30 who've given birth and mine fits like it was made for me. I'd give this thing 10 stars if I could. It's fine for my heavy flow on my first two days and all the way through the last day. Highest recommendation and two huge thumbs up!

After having children I fell out of love with my mooncup that had been amazing for 2 years prior (despite upgrading size appropriately). Following reviews I tried a diva but couldn’t trust it and was very aware of it. Fast forward a couple years getting fed up of tampons again I came across ‘putacupinit’, recommendations were one not available in UK, divs and lunette...it was on offer so I took a gamble and I’m so pleased I did! Can’t feel it at all (cut the stem completely as have done with others) No leaks Easiest to rinse Pops open easily and releases easily Happy using a cup again finally!

I purchased the model 1 first, in the orange color. I really liked that it wasn't huge, it wasn't too firm or too soft. It didn't flare out at the rim or have a wide base. It generally didn't intimidate me. It was just right. But when I would wear it over night it leaked. After a detailed process of elimination, I figured out that it just didn't have enough capacity to get me through the night so... I bought the model 2. It is much firmer. I was a bit intimidated by it because of that. I thought that it would put too much pressure on my bladder. I won't lie. I felt a bit of pressure. But it was something that I easily got accustomed to and so it wasn't a nuisance. The pressure didn't make me want to take the cup out and I didn't make going to the bathroom difficult or anything like that. Because there is more resistance, I just needed to be more careful inserting and removing it (keep a firm grip on the fold so that it doesn't suddenly pop open on you). This cup is ev-er-y-thing! Ev-er-y-thing? EV-ER-Y-thing. I didn't have leaks, just the spotting that I would get in between emptying it out and reinserting it. The silicone wasn't sticky like the Sckoon or velvety smooth like the Lily so it went in nicely but I could still grip it. I didn't have a problem with it opening when fully inserted. I mostly use the punch down fold but occasionally I use the C-fold. I had a bit of trouble positioning it correctly but that is because my cervix seems to never want to stay in one spot so I kinda have to find it THEN position the cup in the proper place. But that's specific to me. The cup still seemed to do the job despite the efforts of a rouge cervix. The yellow color isn't as vibrant to me in real life in comparison to the picture (neither was the orange), but I still thought that it was a happy color so it's all good. And it hasn't stained. Overall when wearing this cup I feel pretty confident that I won't have any troubling moments. I alternate between using the larger size and smaller size and while I feel a little bit of pressure on my bladder when I initially insert it, when start to go about my life I'm not aware of the feeling anymore. It's still pretty darn cozy for me. I will say, the cup has visible and tactile seems. Like, it isn't neatly finished off. At first, I thought that this would be a problem; that it would irritate me. But it doesn't. Not at all. My model 1 had the same issue but it wasn't as obvious. On my model 1, one of the holes was considerably smaller than the others and I thought that it would be a problem too. But it wasn't. It's still easy to clean the holes. Just for a frame of reference: I'm not a virgin but I have never had children. I'm 30 and my physical activity is a little above average. I'm not overweight. My cervix sits at an average depth. It's not high or low. The whole cup fits inside (I cut off the stem). I don't have a weak bladder. I know that these are factors one considers when making this kind of purchase; so I'm sharing this personal information. I know it has been frustrating for me at times trying to figure out what will work best for me. I hope this intimate review can help make this process easier for you.
