Happy with my adapter
I had issues connecting my HP computer to 2 monitors. I bought this product, a quick update that was automatically done. It came right up. Happy that I was able to connect my headset, wireless adapter for my mouse and keyboard, and external speakers. So far a good product.

Didn't Work!
Didn't work for my laptop, but it's due to being an older laptop that may have made it work, not the actual device itself.

Works, easy to set up
I purchased this to connect my HP Envy to two 24" monitors and various peripherals. Peripherals and one monitor up and running, 2nd monitor needs further investigation. 4 stars as I'm getting brief black screens (laptop, then 24"). Annoying, but liveable. Will do a teardown and reassemble to see if it continues.

35 days and stopped working
Stopped working entirely 35 days after purchase. Had a 5 year old Dell laptop with a thunderbolt dock and used it with a monitor. Perfect. Decided to try a HP Omnibook 5. It does not work with Thunderbolt. The manufacturers of computers/laptops purposely put their own technology so you can only use their hubs, ect. Bought this display port dock because it is the only HP option that will turn the laptop on. Died 35 days later. Piece of junk, do not buy this.

Works Exactly as Expected — No Issues at All
This HP USB‑C Dock does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I use it at home to connect my personal laptop to monitors and the rest of my setup, and everything works smoothly with no problems. It’s simple, reliable, and makes my workspace way more convenient. I haven’t run into any issues, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Works great once you install the display link app, else both monitor are mirrors of the mac. Afterwards, I did have 3 independent monitors. I was in doubt concerning the claim of 144hz and 120hz, but it seems to work fine. Great companion for MacBook Air m4.
