The showerhead I purchased truly has exceeded my expectations.First, I was impressed with the fact that it came with a good amount of Teflon plumbing tape in a nice little roll.Secondly, an extra washer was also included which was a surprise.Third, the ability to remove the flow restrictor was a good feature.Finally, the showerhead was packaged well, with care and protection.The installation was very simple, but I had expected that. When I turned the shower on, I thought the amount of water coming out looked similar to my very old showerhead, so I figured I would have to remove the flow restrictor at some point, if I wanted to feel more pressure.I'm glad I didn't remove it, because once I stepped into the shower, it felt wonderful. It had plenty of pressure, felt much stronger than my old showerhead, and was even, consistent and strong. No need to take out the flow restrictor or to do anything else but enjoy.My only regret is that I hadn't bought this showerhead sooner. It not only functions really well, but is beautiful, and best of all, fairly low priced.The bottom line is that I'm very happy with my purchase and am enjoying my showerhead.

I just finished a small remodeling job in my master bathroom and was looking for a nice, high-end shower head to replace the Delta fixture that I had bought in the late 90's that had done its time. After browsing the selection at the Home Depot and a couple of other local stores, I was disappointed at the high prices for products that I considered to be inferior to my original shower head. Even the top-name fixtures that I saw were made out of a flimsy plastic material that felt cheap and fragile, and I couldn't see spending upwards of $45 for a product that I wasn't confident would last half as long as the fixture that I was replacing. So I decided, rather than making an impulse decision at the store, that I should do some research on Amazon to see what other options were available.After some browsing, I chanced upon the ShowerMaxx and was immediately impressed by the look of the product: sleek, minimalist and with the beautiful chrome finish across the entire shower head that I had been looking for. This contrasted with many other fixtures that I had seen in the under-$30 price point, which all seemed to have a matte grey plastic finish on the front of the spray that in my opinion makes for a much cheaper-looking product. I also liked the fact that this shower head had 5 flow settings, and came with all of the components necessary for the installation. At $29.99, I figured I would give it a shot and that I could always return it if the product didn't deliver.After my fourth shower with this product, all I can say is that I couldn't be happier with my purchase! The shower head looks even better out of the box than it does in the pictures, and the chrome finish is gorgeous and much nicer than anything I had seen on the shelves for under $50. It would be difficult to overstate just how nice this shower head looks - it really makes the entire shower pop. In terms of functionality, the water flow is excellent and on par with my old Delta fixture, even with the water restrictor in-place. I really only use the rainfall setting, but I've tried the various massage settings and they are pretty nice as well.For $29.99, you really can't go wrong with this shower head. If you are looking for a fixture with a chrome finish, then this will look stunning in your bathroom, and the shower experience is definitely on par with the big-name brands that cost twice as much. Do yourself a favor, save some money and upgrade to a ShowerMaxx - you won't regret it.

Always searching for good shower head (esp handheld corded ones, useful when giving headbaths for kids). I always scan them when I'm at Home Depot/Lowes/Sam's... I had to buy one last Aug 2016, in short notice when I moved into a town home, and the master bath had a shower case with an old shower head that and sprayed and fanned out poorly. So bought this one, reasonably priced (was $25 then). I remember seeing the specs/review about it being plastic - that is true. But with a great chrome finish and after 10 months, hardly know it is plastic, had to tap on it now to remember this is plastic. Why I mention this is relevant to the 2nd point.Here are the reasons for my review title and my high rating.1) Since I had a shower cube (like 2.5ft x2.5ft), and due to the previous shower head issues, this one has a perfect cylindrical shower stream. i.e. in the head dia is 4.5 inches, the shower stream as it hits the floor is also 4.5 inches. So it doesn't open up, compared to the old/previous head this was a perfect situation. May be a slightly negative factor if I had a larger shower space, I would've like it to open up to about 12 inches when it hits the floor. But for my situation it could've opened up to about 6 inches. This is the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars, if there was 4.5 stars - that'll be accurate.2) This shower head comes with 5 settings - more than enough & ideal (there are ones that come with 12 - and not ONE will be suitable!!!). I stick to the full jet, haven't used the others much, what I like is when I switch the setting after someone else uses the shower, in most other shower heads the water will drip/leak down the side of the shower head, but in this one - NO - it drips a couple of drops, that's it, and water will spray from all of the "switched to" jets immediately without half coming/dripping from the previous jets. This is why I pointed that it is built of plastic, but is of very good quality.

This shower head has excellent pressure and various settings. It was easy to install with noleaks. The oil-bronze looks good with our other bathroom fixtures.

Matches the brass control valve perfectly.Sprays excellent.Many varieties of spray.
