Strong stainless hanger - tested - won't rust on you!
These are good sturdy, strong hangers. Each hanger weighs ~3.6 ounces. Upon opening, they should be checked for any tooling marks that might damage/snag clothing. The clear rubber caps on the hook-end don't come off easily, but can come off. Would be nice if hook-ends were forged with a rounded "bead", but would likely increase production costs.I was curious about the stainless steel claim, as I planned on using these hangers for some expensive dress shirts. I conducted a magnet test and while there is some steel present, the attraction is very low, consistent with AISI 300 grades of stainless. I also tried a spark test by removing the plastic cap on the hook end and grinding the hanger with a Dremel tool. Strangely, I got NO spark! However, the spark-tested hanger exhibited higher magnetic attraction after the grinding. This ruled out aluminum. Scraping the wire surface did not produce any chipping, indicative of plating.Since the hangers are broad spot-welded to close the loop, I inspected these weld-points under a 7x magnification and there was no color variances, rust-spotting etc. It appears the hangers are made using a chromium-nickel based stainless steel. It seems that after welding the hangers are tub-polished.I'm pretty confident these won't rust under normal conditions and, given their durability, will last for many years, making this a good investment in closet organization.

No longer made, it seems
They are GREAT hangers but have not been in stock for a couple of years. Bummer. I bought 100 though, so Im good, but if you need some, keep an eye out and see if they come back. They are really worth it, and I never found heavy hangers like these for a long time now!

Thick and sturdy
Bought these to add to the ones I had bought from IKEA a long while back. These are thinner and lighter than the IKEA ones, but they are definitely sturdy and thick enough for any heavy jackets. Price is great for what you get. I have to say they look like the chrome plated IKEA ones, but they definitely are a polished stainless since a magnet won't stick to them.

No Bending
Needed one of these to put under a jewelry bag that hangs in the closet and cheap regular metal hangers are not strong enough and plastic ones can break and do bend to a point. So far I only needed one, but they jewelry holder will accommodate 2 if I put too heavy of jewelry in the holder. All are costume jewelry but some are larger and heavier. Use the rest for coats that regular hangers are not strong enough for. Glad I purchased.

Great quality, durable and sleek
I converted my entire wardrobe to these stainless steel hangers accompanied with stainless steel organizers in 2016 and I love the quality. I have not had an issue with a single hanger and I’ve purchased quite a bit of them. The only drawback was the weight, when I moved to a bigger house packing up stainless steel hangers was like moving furniture! Other than that, I’m happy I made the investment, they are stronger and much thinner than plastic hangers.

Most people have gotten used to substandard hangers and don't realize that it is the little things in life that can make your life easier. I have thrown away every plastic and wire hanger in my house. Quality changes do not tangle the hold your clothes and prevent weird creases. Do yourself a favor and throw out those plastic hangers.Another use that makes these better, you can use the indentations to hold your camisoles. I do put at least 5 on a hanger, the design allows me to get one at a time and then do not slide off the hanger.

Probably the best hangers money can buy
I replaced all the plastic hangers in my house with these think stainless steel ones two years ago. They still look good as new and none have broken or bent in any way in this time. These hangers aren't cheap, and a set of them is pretty hefty, but they'll probably outlast you.

nice hangers
These are very nice hangers. I personally do not like the slim, flocked hangers as I find them hard to get my clothes on & off of them. I prefer these plain hangers. These are a nice weight, and the grooves at the shoulders are great for keeping strappy items in place. I will probably order more of these eventually, as I phase out plastic hangers from my closets. One other nice thing. the stainless steel is less likely to corrode or rust over time. I live at the beach, so this is sometimes a concern with metal hangers.
