Great product for sidesleepers
I was having troubles sleeping with stomache issues (ulcer/gastritis) as well as waking up with numb arms and shoulders.I tried this out thinking I had nothing to lose. The first week was tough. I woke up at least 3-5 times per night trying to flip sides (difficult to do when your arm is caught under). Also the raised sleeping position gave my eyes a weird sinking feeling when waking up (not sure how else to describe that, but most likely has something to do with blood pressure change from elevated sleeping??).To be honest I was close to giving up on this product by day 4. My sleep was interrupted every night and evey time I had to turn over. However I told myself to just give it another week and see if it improved. The next night I only woke up once. The next day I felt pretty good and realized I did not have numbness in my arms or shoulders anymore. Also my stomach issues were pretty much non existent.Every day since got better and better to today (about a month later). Today I don't even wake up at night, I sleep soundly through the night and have no issues with numbness or stomach problems. This product is expensive, but it does work extremely well and has saved me from doctors and medicine (PPIs are relatively cheap but health without medicine is priceless). The other positive is the removable (zipperable) cover that can be washed with other pillow cases.TLDR;If you have stomach issues or arm numbness from side-sleeping - give this a shot. It worked for me.

The foam has to be a certain level of stiffness in order to support your body but it ends up being too firm to be comfortable for me
The MedCline did not work for me but I'm giving it three stars for effort. The design has a lot of potential and to be honest, I'm not sure how I would improve it, but I had to return mine because I couldn't tolerate it. I am a side sleeper andI bought this thing to help with shoulder/upper arm pain. The foam has to be a certain level of stiffness in order to support your body but it ends up being too firm to be comfortable for me. And the transition point where the arm drops down into the hole requires you to be pretty far up onto the pillow, to the point where I didn't feel like i was lying down any more. If you can tolerate the feeling you have while lying on it, it will probably work great for you.

Older model was great. New version is trash, will cause you to slide down, and leave your arms numb and shoulders in pain.
I purchased the old model back in December 2016, it was great. No shoulder pain, stayed in place on the pillow all night. My dog destroyed that one and I repurchased the new model in late February; it is absolute junk. If I could rate it 0 stars I would. They re-designed the pillow so the part you used to rest your own pillow on is absolutely thin and has no support. Then they included a new pillow insert to stick in the hole. This design is absolutely terrible, as sticking my arm through the hole and having a pillow insert compress it all night leaves my arm numb and tweaks it in a position which causes me to wake up in immense shoulder pain 95% of the time.I don't know if I am able to get an old model, but I would like one. I may be outside of the return/trial window now, so I'm probably stuck with an inexpensive piece of junk.If it ain't broke, don't fix it Medcline. You turned a fabulous product into an absolute piece of trash.

I like it!
Replaced my old simple wedge with the Medcline Advanced Positioning. Well thought out and made. You may need a few nights to find the best positions that work for you. I found it works best for me with a smaller pillow at the top as I have neck issues. I like to also sleep on my back sometimes. You can't lay on your back and put both arms through, so I place a larger and heavier body pillow at my rear and another under my legs....this is a nice comfortable position for me. I would always wake up in the middle of the night after sliding down off my old wedge. My neck would be aching and my throat burning. Not any more! Also the angle is steeper and its firmer than my old one. I found that on my side I put my elbow in the arm hole and my hand back up under my pillow and that holds me in place as well as the whole arm through. As a long time Gerd sufferer, I recommend this pillow!

more cushion it would work better. It is past the 90 return date
I had to try a different size ( smaller), return was very quick. found it was difficult to get use to, if the material was softer, more cushion it would work better. It is past the 90 return date. If it doesn't work return it before the 90 day period.

The MedCline is well made and works nicely. I am not sleeping on my side even ...
The MedCline is well made and works nicely. I am not sleeping on my side even though the position is comfortable and my shoulders feel good when I am "in the hole." Maybe I will get used to it with more time. However, I began sleeping better the first night. As in only getting up once and then falling back to sleep quickly. And last night, I did not get up at all, which is highly unusual for me as a 59 year old man with BPH.One of the reason I slept on my side as much as I did (before) was because I would start feeling hungry when I slept on my back. So hungry I would need to get up and have a snack. Now that I am inclined, I have only felt hungry while on my back once, the feeling passed, and I went back to sleep. That is not how it used to work for me. This sleeping on an incline is making a huge difference.

My hip rides up the incline and I slide down at night and cannot get comfortable. n
Definitely know your height before ordering. Also, if you're very muscular you may want to drop down a size. I found that the size that was supposed to fit me is about 2" too long. My hip rides up the incline and I slide down at night and cannot get comfortable.n. I think it is a good product. Would give 5 stars but by the time I figured out the issue it is a bit too late to send it back. It may be possible to trim it down but then the custom cover wouldnt fit it.
