COMPLEMENTARY COATINGS SU0308092-01 INSL-X Sure Step Acrylic Gray Pearl Anti-Slip Concrete Coating, 1-Gallon, 1 Gallon

We bought this paint for our wooden front porch. We had painted it the year before with another and found it very slipper. After taking an Olympic quality dive of the steps two winters ago, I decided to do something about it.This paint is VERY thick because of the grit in it and covers well. You use a lot to get coverage because it is so thick so make sure you buy lots!I must say though, it filled a lot of cracks in the wood and once dry was really abrasive. Last winter we had no problems with slipperiness on the steps. I'm sure the UPS guy delivering all our Amazon purchases is happier!This summer, after 3 years of use, we're seeing a lot of scrapes and chips in the paint. We didn't do the best job in preparing the surface before painting, and it is a heavy wear area, so I think that is par for the course. I'm not even sure it is meant for wood, but I think it did a pretty good job.I'll probably give it another coat at the end of the summer just to cover some of the scrapes and cracks. It's an old wooden porch, and has seen a lot of sun, rain and snow.

The item of paint gallon came bent on the side with paint all over the box. How I can return a pain gallon not sesled and paint leaking in the box.If you wish I can send a picture.

hard to keep clean.. used on basement floor and in basement shower. Can't scrub hard.. paint comes off.

This product has sure placed my wife at ease. It took our wooden steps to the front of the house from quite slippery to very stable. It would now take some effort to be able to slip now. With the grippy paint itself and the sand mixed in with it, it's great. The color leaves something to be desired, but I chose the gray to contrast with the surroundings to make the steps stand out more, so they can be ween well in the dark. Not pretty, but very effective so far.
