Excellent product, Awesome Support!!!!
I ordered this charger for my 2017 Chevy Bolt EV due to the need for outdoor charging. The IP66 rating is everything I needed to charge in Michigan Weather. It is rated for -22F to 120F. My first unit kept displaying an error code for Vout leak and would stop charging so I contacted support and we tried a few more things and it was determined something was wrong with this unit. Support shipped me a new unit directly from Hong Kong and it arrived very quick as in impressively quick!!! They went above and beyond. Their support is the best I have ever received on any product!!! The new unit works flawlessly and is very sturdy. The unit has multiple amperage choices and the ability to delay charge start. The LED display is great for information and charges my Bolt at it's max capacity of 32Amps at 240v. I bought the 40 Amp version to future proof for the next EV. Awesome product from a trusted name!!!! I highly recommend this charger to anyone who needs an outdoor charge solution as most of us don't want the Chevy Bolt in our garages as of late!!

Seems like a really solid unit. Adjustable amperage. Nice carrying case
Bought to pair with a Kia EV6 I just got. Overall seems like a really well built unit. Have only used it a few times so far though. I didn't want a permanently installed unit at my house as I have access to free charging at work via an external outlet. Will mostly be charging there, but this gives me the flexibility to charge at home/on the road too. Readout is intuitive and fairly easy to see. Was hard to tell from the description but I mined through the comments to see that you can manually set the amperage draw (cycles through 12,16,24,32,40A settings with the push of a button before connecting to the car). Can also delay charging if you have off peak rates you're trying to target where you charge.Being so stout it is bulky and doesn't roll up the easiest. The case is nice and secures the unit well, but you need to be precise to get it back in there (think putting a tent back into the bag it came in). Using it almost daily, I'll more than likely just loosely roll it up and toss it in the back.

Works as advertised, including with adjustable current output
I bought this for use with a 2022 Kia EV6 Wind RWD, which is capable of up to 11kW of Level 2 (240V AC) charging speeds. This EVSE fits a great use case:-somebody who doesn't care about smart-phone based "smart" EVSEs (this unit is adjustable, but it isn't "smart")-somebody who wants Level 2 charging at home-somebody who also might want to *occasionally* take that EVSE with them on road trips to ensure they have a Level 1 charging option at their destination. If those three bullet points sound like you, this is the product for you.I say "occasionally" take it with you because there is credible concern that frequent plugging/unplugging of a NEMA 14-50 outlet will weaken the outlet and cause it to get loose. But unplugging it maybe just one or two times a month? Yeah that'll probably be no problem at all.I also say "occasionally" because it is cumbersome to coil the entire EVSE back up into the case that comes with this product. That's not because the case is bad, but rather because the EVSE itself is both pretty heavy and also kind of stiff. If you've never used cables this thick before, you'll be surprised at how much effort is involved with coiling them up. These aren't exactly vacuum cleaner power cords, ya know? The case is too large to fit underneath the false floor in my Kia EV6's rear cargo area, and DEFINITELY too large to fit in my "front trunk" storage box. However the cord will fit in either "hidden" storage space if you are patient and coil it up very carefully. This is a solid and sturdy product, but I haven't owned it for long. There is a very easy-to-find independent product review of this EVSE that gives it poor ratings for build quality, but I haven't seen any issues yet with my much less abusive use of the unit.I think the cable and hard plastic casings will easily show dirt and scuff marks--get a black EVSE if you don't want to see that kind of dirt on yours. The box on the unit where the charging information is displayed has two buttons on it--one, for adjusting the max current output that you want to use, and another for manually setting a delay in charge start time (increments of whole hours). I recommend adjusting either option *before* you plug this EVSE into your vehicle: it seems like neither option can be easily changed after you're plugged into both the wall and also your car.On the note of adjusting the current: all of the main charging currents from 12 Amps (the max charging current you can use on a standard 15 Amp, 120V AC household circuit) to 40 Amps (the max charging current you can use on a NEMA 14-50 outlet on a 240V AC circuit) seem to be available, but this product only comes with the NEMA 14-50 and NEMA 5-15 plug ends. If you want to use any outlet other than a NEMA 14-50 (Level 2) or NEMA 5-15 (Level 1), then you'll probably have to buy plug adapters...but the user's manual for this doesn't address how to do that in the most safe manner. So good luck with that if you go that route. I find it strange that the current is adjustable, yet the owner's manual doesn't say how to use plug ends that are appropriate for the mid-range currents.PUNCHLINE: this is a great EVSE for both Level 2 charging at home, and also for occasional use as a portable Level 1/Level 2 EVSE. At this price (~$500-$550), I find this combined functionality to be very appealing, since most wall-mounted Level 2 EVSEs cost about $500 by themselves, and most portable Level 1 EVSEs start at about $200 by themselves. Don't unplug it from your wall every single day, and don't expect smart functions with this, but it can be unplugged, and it can be adjusted. So what more do you want?

The fastest portable charger
This is the fastest portable charger I could find - others don't go beyond 32A. What is great about it is that the amperage can easily be changed: 12A, 16A, 24A, 32A and 40A all possible. The actual amperage seems a bit below the stated one but even 38A instead of 40A is plenty. When the charger struggles to pull enough power, instead of crashing the house system, it adjust to amperage automatically to a lower level, which is a great feature. The charger is very sturdy and gives a very safe impression. The 120V adapter is helpful for travel though one would not really want to move around this rather bulky charger all the time and should get a separate, smaller 16A portable charger that works with both 120V and 240V for this purpose.Future improvements that would be nice: allow amperage to be changed while car is charging (now need to stop charging and unplug from car to change amperage), make the charger connect to WiFi and control via internet, allow it to use a 240V adapter (doesn't work now because the 240V connection requires a neutral line which a 240V outlet will not have).

Appealing features, poor execution
The features of this charger are appealing, but the build quality is subpar and the charger only works less than 50% of the time. I have to connect/disconnect multiple times just to get the charger to start delivering electricity. Also, it's suppose to deliver 32A max, but tops out at 29A even when plugged into a 40A circuit.
