CyberPowerRCCARD100 Cloud Monitoring Card

Plugs in and works as specified. Very easy install. Bought a second one for my other ups.

The amazon description clearly states "POWERPANEL CLOUD APP: FREE subscription for one device, Additional units will require an annual paid subscription." This is false advertising. Once installed, it provided me only a 90-day free trial and wants me to pay a subscription after that. I attach a screenshot of my phone offering the 90-day free trial. I based my networking plan on this, so I am stuck.

I ordered the wired version but received the wireless model (RWCCARD100). I decided it use it rather than deal with an exchange. It installed in an OR500LCDRM1U without issue. Adding it to WiFi was fairly easy following prompts on the "PowerPanel Cloud" app. You can monitor the cloud connected UPS via the app or a web browser. My company has a lot of APC Smart-Connect UPS deployed. CyberPower's cloud platform provides 3 years of monitoring vs APC's 2(?). I also prefer CyberPower's cloud console layout as most information is much easier to pull up. APC's interface requires a lot of clicking around. This is the first CyberPower cloud connected UPS we've worked with and are impressed so far.

This card relies on a subscription service, so charging $60+ for it feels a bit exploitative. Build it into the UPS. It also seems kind of limited in capabilities.I was initially thrown by the short trial period given, but customer support assured me that after the trial period has elapsed, the longer lasting free plan will kick in.

So I had to remove my UPS from the rack which meant shutting down everything to change the batteries something that had to happen. While everything was down I installed the cloud card in which I purchased knowing that during the outage I could put it in the unit! Great investment now I can monitor my network rack power from anywhere! Easy to install, easy to setup, and feature rich! It does require a yearly plan I chose the $39 plan they also have $9 a year plan. Either way it was a must have upgrade your compatible cyber power ups!

This item had a lot of potential, but there is one important thing they left out...that in order to use this you have to buy a subscription. That's right, pay more to use the hardware you just thought you purchased, and if you don't, then this is a paperweight (literally).Take that in to consideration when purchasing.

Simple to install, these things work great. I bought the cloud PowerPanel from CyberPower for $24 for 3 devices for 3 years. An amazing deal considering how much all other SNMP cards cost. The dashboard shows you the information you need. You can set up alerts and emails.These would be perfect for a home environment.

not worth the near $90 for a card that will then require a paid subscription.returning the item today
