Work well WHEN applied along bottom red stripe. Comes boxed like a gift.
The weights come handsomely packaged like a gift. First effort blew up and stuck on the gutter because they were incorrectly placed at the end of 4 red stripes. Oops! They work very well when placed along the bottom red stripe!! Well made and heavy enough for our windy location.

These DO Nothing!!!!!!!!!
These were purchased so that the wind would stop blowing our flag around our flagpole. The first day after attaching them to the flag to weight it down, I came home and the magnets were in our driveway and yard. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECCOMEND these. They are small and light weight. They definitely do Not do what they say they will do. They do not hold a flag down. They are cheap plastic and of no use. Such a HORRIBLE purchase. I had thrown the package away so I cannot return them. I feel that I deserve a refund. The description is misleading and false. Total waste of money!!!!!

Are All Magnets The Same? Answer. Is .....
These type of rubberized magnets are designed to be placed on flags to help prevent it from tangling in the wind. I purchased a less expensive set here on Amazon and the magnets kept falling off in the breeze, the flag tangled up on the mast, and just a mess. I'm not even talking a strong wind, but on a breezy day.They were junk and are being returned.Here is your Answer:No, not all magnets are the same or have the same holding power. These flag magnets are considerably stronger than the other set I purchased. You can actually feel them pull and click together. The rubber material covering the magnet is also of a better quality. This set has been on my flag for a while now and have not fallen off or allowed the flag to tangle on itself. They do the job they were intended to do and I'm pleased with them. Recommended product.10/18/2024 Update:This past week we had a pretty strong wind storm. There were fallen trees in a nearby park. I was certain that some of the magnets would have fallen off the flag. But none fell off and they held beautifully. Flag was not tangled and looks great. Just an FYI. Thanks.

Strong magnets!
I stuck 2 of the magnets together wanting to see just how strong they were. To my surprise I could barely get them apart, very strong. My flag has not been tangled or stuck on house since I applied all the magnets. I'm so happy to have these wonderful magnets. They really do work.It's been a couple weeks & my red magnets are fading. 2 of them are always off, today 4 were. I put them back on but they'll be off tomorrow or so. My flag still doesn't tangle when they fall off. So I'm still happy I got them.

Not working for me.1
These magnets for the most part work good for weighing the flag down. My problem is my porch roof is close and when it's very windy, the flag lands atop the roof. I still use them and gave e one to a neighbor who doesn't have my problem.Thank you,Sue A

Great Concept
These were the first flag weights I've purchased and they were doing the job. Until the weights blew off and of the weights broke open with the magnet inside fractured. I returned weights and my money was refunded.

These magnets fly off in fairly strong wind and can chip or dent your car if parked nearby.
Nice concept, but too weak. I find them in my driveway and flowerbed. They could easily chip a car windshield or paint. Too expensive for a product that fails.

Works exactly as I had hoped
We used this to hold down an outside US flag, mounted on our block fence, that has been flipping over the top of the fence in moderate winds. Placed the magnets on the bottom corners. Much improved - probably prevents 90% of the issue - in higher winds the flag still occasionally flips over the fence. Fortunately, the magnets remained attached to the flag as I pull it back over to our side. Heavier weights may help but may also be adverse to the flag. Overall - happy with this purchase. Thank you.

My street is like a wind-tunnel. My flag was blowing up and getting caught in the eaves and ripping.One set of these strong magnets was effective to resolve the issue.Excellent product.
