Deborah Lippmann Base Coat for Longer Lasting Manicure | Creates a Smooth Base for Even Polish Application

This nail polish is really nice! The color is mostly clear with a very sheer, iridescent lavender sheen. It's subtle but very pretty and perfect for someone like me who hasn't worn nail polish in over a decade (no joke!). My nails feel like they can breathe, and the polish doesn't smell half as strong or as bad as most nail polishes. I like the better ingredients and high quality, and although the price is steep, I'd say it's just about worth it. This makes a great base coat or a simple, shimmery nail polish that brightens up your nails with a slick look. I got this as a possible holiday gift but couldn't resist trying it myself! I definitely recommend it.♡

I was skeptical. I thought my nails looked good before. I applied this stuff and pushed back my cuticles and I was shocked. My fingers look like I just left the nail salon. This stuff literally melts away dead skin. My cuticle pusher and this remover are magic. It lightened the area of my skin near the nail and gave my manicure the freshest look ever. I'm impressed. This is now my go-to!

rarely do i give out 5 stars. product results is beyond spectacular! i suffer with dry, cracked cuticles that typically return a few days after a manicure. a couple of drops of deborah lippman cuticle remover works wonders. near a week and still looks newly done. don't look for quantity in this HIGH PRICE TAG as its all about quality! full disclosure, high-end manicure will be achieved if you have right tools. i recommend tweezerman cuticle pusher, or nail pumice stone cuticle push stone and tweezwerman LTD spiral spring cuticle nipper, recently purchased and set to write a review shortly.

I love Lippmann polish and have several shades. This is a pretty, subtle, slightly sparkly, sheer tint. I love the natural look, but while this product did shine my nails and add a little sparkle, it didn't really do much to camouflage my bruised toenails. Granted they were very bruised from a long hike with boots that were too big. I may have to give up the healthy natural look for now and wear a more opaque polish for awhile. I think this product's reflective nature would be better suited for pale bruising or lightly discolored nails. Very pretty on my non-bruised nails.

I really wanted to like this, especially considering the price. The Deborah Lippman Cuticle Remover did a good job dissolving my cuticles, but it also made my nails and fingertips peel. My nails have never been hand-model caliber, but I never had such bad looking nails until I used this product. I ruined all of the great results I had just achieved after having spent weeks rejuvenating my nails and cuticles with Bliss Kiss cuticle oil. I stopped using the DL cuticle remover for a few weeks and went back to my old Sally Hansen, and the problem disappeared. I cannot recommend this product.

OMG!! I just tried this for the first time and I was blown away by how well it worked. I used it on both fingernails and toenails. It worked GREAT!! Yes, it is on the expensive side, but if you have problem cuticles, it is worth every penny. I had heard of DL products but had never tried them. I decided to splurge and get this cuticle remover and I am so glad I did. I can't wait to try other Deborah Lippmann products if they all work this well.

I love this product. I already have weird/short looking nail beds, but this made them look and feel a lot healthier and nicer. Pushing back my cuticles with this product is great because it takes dead skin off while I do it, and it leaves healthy, soft looking cuticles after. I would recommend leaving it on for 1:30 minutes - 2 minutes for it to work well though. After I push them back, I rub them off with a paper towel to remove excess dead skin, I then moisturize with a homemade cuticle oil. With the right tools, this product works even better!!

No apparent additives detrimental to health according to my wife. Best one out there!

Have got very thick dry cuticles. This is brilliant, must remember though leave on for a good few minutes and push back gently with hoof stick. I then wash the cuticle area with an old soft toothbrush and dry my cuticles pushing back again gently with a towel. Have been using this one a week regularly for some time now and I can definitely see vast improvement. Have tried so many cuticle removers in the past but this is definitely the best I have ever used.

It is my second order but this time I have received this bottle stained with nail polish (on the outside) :( Disappointed
