Brook XB Fighting Board - Pre-installed header version, Arcade Stick PCB For XB 360, Original Consoles, and PC

So after getting this, had to fish around on the official site for manuals and all that. I basically bought it for a Raspberry Pi project along with the P4+ models, but wanted them PS4 and Xbox compatible due to the nature of the project while still be able to use them on a Pi 4.The P4+ plugged into and was recognized by the Pi 4 no problem. The XB model was not, despite working fine on my Xbox One (apparently Xbox is updating the consoles to remove support in a few weeks, but that's not the fault of Brook).So in order to get it to be recognized by my Pi 4, I had to plug it into my PC (which normally sees it as an Xbox One controller) while holding down the Y, Menu, and View buttons. Then unplug and replug in a few times with those buttons held. Apparently that saves the board manually to be set and recognized as an Xbox 360 controller every time. Then when I plugged back into my PC normally, my PC saw the board as an Xbox 360 controller (apparently its the same solution people use for a 2nd XB board on a PC to be recognized and both used).Then I plugged back into my Pi 4 and it was recognized as a 360 controller and was able to set it up just fine. To the reviewer who said it doesnt work with his Pi 3, this method made it work with my Pi 3 as well. So confirmed the Brook XB board DOES work with the Pi 3.This is still a review in progress as I still gotta install these into my Pi based mame cabinet and replace some POS encoder boards. But I think this is gonna work just fine.

i download the update file on my PC an it is a Zip file an after the Did the Update that was few seconds to update an ready to Playplug it intp my Xbox x(works good)try it on my Xbox 1 (works good)try it on my PC (works good)try it on my Xbox 360(work good)an i buy it about 1 year ago. and it still plays good as i first buy it ^^so it worth to buy it

I bought two of these XB boards for a Launchbox/Big Box based arcade cab using Windows 10 as the OS. Windows would recognize both boards as Xbox One controllers in device manager, but only one at a time would actually work as a controller. Messaged Brook support with no response. I figured out on my own after much searching on google and a ton of trial & error, that if you set the 2nd player board to be recognized as an Xbox 360 controller (hold menu & Y buttons while plugging in the board) Windows will see both boards (Player 1 as Xbox one controller & player 2 as Xbox 360 controller) and work perfectly. Hope this helps someone else! 3 stars only due to lack of response from Brook and the boards not working properly without this little work around.Update (8/29/23) I've updated this review to 5 stars from 3. Brook support finally responded and sent me some BETA firmware to try. I'm happy to report that both XB boards now function at the same time as Xbox One controllers in Windows 10.

I installed the latest firmware update on 2 different XB boards. After the update, neither board auto detects or saves device modes. The boards will only connect to my Xbox Series X when I hold down the X Button while plugging in the USB. On PC, the boards show up as unknown devices unless I manually hold down the LB and View buttons simultaneously. Configurations don’t save as advertised. The instruction manual says that the setting is supposed to save when holding down the buttons and plugging in the USB, but it doesn’t. Customer service is in Taiwan and only responds to emails. Sometimes waiting days in between responses. After no resolution from Brooks, I sent both boards and cables back for a full refund.

I had some old custom-build joysticks I had created for the XBox 360. They were now gathering dust after many years of system incompatibility. I tried a universal adapter, but found there to be too much lag. I thought I'd try the XB Fighting Board and I'm thrilled with the results.Hooking up my wiring to the board worked on the first try. Everything was clearly marked and easy to connect to. Way easier than soldering to a PCB like I did back in the day.One note: I purchased two boards because I had two joysticks. Initially, the XBox Series X wouldn't recognize them as separate controllers which caused some problems. However, support sent me a new firmware update (it was in BETA) the same day as my support request, and it fixed the issue.Now my old fight sticks have new life. Love this product!

The media could not be loaded.  The XB Fighting Board works perfectly on my PC, just had to update the firmware. I have 2 of them setup in a 2 player configuration, No problem. Great product, fast delivery, high quality product.

I am for the most part a Xbox Gamer as a Primary Console and use a small PC for Fight case 2. I needed this board to revive an Old School stick that I messed up during upgrading. IT DOESN'T GET ANYMORE REAL THAN THIS FOLKS!!!!My Advice. 1. MAKE SURE OF YOUR WIRING!!!!!!!!2. Update To Latest Firmware via the Brook Site.If you can use your intelligence and skills to buy the board from Amazon, wire it up and update it right then you will have a fantastic time with this XB Fighting Board.

Originally intended on using two of these on one console, but multiple consoles would not recognize the board if utilizing two at once (For player 1 and player 2). I resolved this issue by swapping one of the controllers to the Brook universal fighting board.I contacted Brook support early on, but their recommendations were actions I had already attempted (assigning accounts to controllers, factory reset, etc.).

Funciona muy bien. No olvides que necesitarás una pc para actualizar al firmware más importante y es muy recomendable comprarlo junto con los cables brooke para tener todas las funcionalidades de los botones de servicio

約2000円で買ったジャンク品のPS3用リアルアーケードプロ3をPCで快適に使えるようにこの基盤を購入。配線などは同社のケーブルは使用せずアケコンのケーブルを切って配線。ちょっとした回路図なら見れて配線技術があれば簡単に配線できます。（時間はかかりますが）元々配線•作製作業を楽しむのも目的の一つだったので特に不満はなかったです。配線作業に自信がない、めんどくさいと思うなら素直にケーブルを買いましょう。改造費は基盤+端子等合わせても5,000円程度でした。使用した感想ですが改造前と比べて確かに遅延はなく、難しいコマテクもできるようになったので改造効果有りです。大会とかでの使用はなく普通にプレイするだけなら最低限の配線で十分で結構格安で作製できるのでおすすめはできます。PS5や大会等での使用を目的なら高い基盤や細かいパーツの取り付けを選択する方が良いです。
