I WAS EXPECTING Battery TO WORK AS THIS IS NEW ITEM. I HAD TO BUY NEW 4 SMALL 1.5v BATTERY AND THIS WAS DISAPPOINTING.

Needed new batteries
Was a present in his Christmas stocking (from someone 😉) but it didn’t work. Husband took it apart and went out and purchased new batteries. It worked after that, but not very strong. It was quite disappointing.
