I wasn't sure I would like this. I have curly fine hair and some gels make my hair look really crunchy. I need a small amount of this to get great hold and definition without crunch. I like it and would buy again.

Recommended by another cheer mom, we were looking for something that would not show brisk or comb strokes. Did a fabulous job and did not clump or show comb lines for a tight high pony! Great product!

I think it’s a little pricey for gel but it’s been the best I’ve found so far! I have curly hair and this stuff really keeps the frizz away! It also holds shape for days! My favorite part is it doesn’t stay crunchy like most gels and doesn’t flake! After it’s dries, just mess with your hair a little bit so it’s not so crunchy and it will still hold curls and make them look so natural!

I use it first, like a leave in cream and then I apply a stronger gel in less quantity

I have very thin hair. My hairdresser tried this on me and I was very impressed. When I found it on Amazon, I was so excited. I love the bounce it gives my hair and my hair isn’t sticky or stiff. I wish this was around when I was younger!!! I highly recommend this product!

Strong hold and works so well on my 2b-3a fine wavy/curls.

Unfortunately no matter how many times I twist clockwise and counter clockwise, the pump will not pop up!!! So frustrating!!

I used to use all the time the 2/3 defining gel. I was afraid to use the strongest one since my curly type is 3a-3b, I mixed with the deva curl coco cream and a little bit of water and ended up giving the best result I could ever asked for. Jus try it! Buying it again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I’ve used deva curl gel for years but this particular extra strength has a great hold. You can feel how it is when you first put it on soaking wet hair. It is pricey but I find you don’t need much so it lasts a long time

I used to use Devacurl all the time for my curls. I wanted to try something new, but don’t know why I did. My curls are always defined, not frizzy, and voluminous with this gel. 10/10 would recommend!

I've been using this gel for years and it's fantastic! I find the ones I order from this seller work as well as store bought but cost $20+ less.

Just wish this product left more of a cast.
