I bought this item to deal with a carpenter bee problem. To that end it worked wonderfully. The bees were completely unable to dodge the net like they would a fly swatter. The problem is they are very cheaply made. The design depends on pressure to hold the net attached to the pole. When swinging it quickly to catch the insect, more often than not the net would go flying off into space causing me to have to scratch around in the grass looking for the various bits and pieces.

This net is not anything better than what one would find at a dollar store....selling for one dollar. Very disappointed.

Cheap basic net for flying insects or water creatures
A simple and cheap net for flying insects. The holes in the net mesh are 1/8", so it will not catch the very smallest insects. Can be used for water too.
