These are the large head, hardened, “ironworker” pliers. What makes them ironworker pliers are the kick out on the handle and they more aggressive knurling on the jaws. They also have a spring in the handle although some ironworker pliers do not have a spring — that is a matter of user preference. But what they are for me are excellent linesman pliers. The head is the same as any Klein linesman, just a bit more aggressive jaws. If you don’t need a fish tape puller or crimper, these are the best lineman pliers because of the spring. I may be called a hack, but I like springs in my pliers and these fit the bill.
