The item is thicker than expected. Usually use Gerber as a sleeping material for my boy. This is thicker than expected. Like T shirt thick. The color dint bleed (even the reds) and was perfect to layer. Keeps my boy warm, and most importantly, it does not stick to the inner layer. I let my boy run around in it without buttoning the bottom since I use it as a layer. Looks nice over his pants. My boy seems to like the shirts too, doesn't fuss when I put it on him. I got four colors (nothing bled or faded), that's how much I liked these shirts. Hoping they come out with a dark teal color. I am unsure if this item shrunk a little over time. That or my boy grew into the shirt, it's been a month, so I'm thinking my boy grew into it. Buy the item and try it out, it's a higher quality than expected. Literally like an adult quality purchase.
