Like a hard Yoga Block, not a "Cushion"
If you want a yoga type block, then this is for you but quite expensive as there are many yoga blocks on the market. It was not a cushion at all, but hardness needed for yoga block type poses. I needed something to cushion my knee after knee surgery when doing yoga or Pilates, I found this to be a much better solution: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003NQRQ2I/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Lightweight and just the right amount of support for a variety of yoga, Pilates movements.

Great for pilates and yoga
This cushion is perfect for pilates and yoga. It is firm and supportive without being too hard. It holds up under use and is much better than a regular pillow or a phone book for support during poses.

It’s a good pad.
The pad works as would be expected . I relented and bought it because I couldn’t find another one with the same dimensions that looked like it might last. It’s a very good pad actually.The price for this pad though is ridiculous and to my mind, it should have been included with the purchase of the reformer. I’m holding back one star because the price gouging really does bother me. Still, if you need a pad, sooner or later you’ll end up buying this one.

STOTT Pilates foam cushion
I am very pleased with this purchase! I use it with so many different clients. It is very versatile. Kind of expensive but well worth the investment .

Good but pricey for foam!
Very nice product for proper cervical alignment during Pilates, but gave it 4 stars because the price is pretty crazy for what this is - a piece of foam with the Merrithew symbol and letter "A" on it. :/
Foam Cushions are a necessary addition to any fully equipped studio or training facility. Designed for extra comfort and support when performing a wide variety of exercises, Foam Cushions are made of high-density, closed-cell polyethylene foam. They are available in three sizes allowing you to choose which one is right for each individual. Foam Cushion \"A\" is often used for head support in a supine position (lying on the back) and may help to create better alignment of the head and neck, preventing the cervical spine from overextending. Foam Cushion \"B\" can be used between the knees and ⁄ or ankles to help maintain activation of the hip adductors, assisting in a full-body connection and ensuring proper alignment of the legs and hips. It is also ideal for use on the Reformer to support the head in side-lying positions. Foam Cushion C is perfect for seated exercises. Individuals with tightness through the lower back, hips and knees can achieve an optimal sitting position with this foam cushion.
