Does this product work on water stains?

I didnt see enough stain removal to purchase again

Is this product appropriate for removing yellow line above water? Im not sure if its mustard algae or organic stain or maybe both

It does a fair job of removing stains below the surface. I would say it would have same fair results above the surface. I have better luck brushing the stains. Over time it can remove stains.

I used a little at a time. Probably about 3/4 of a cup. However, I targeted the stains in my pool. I used an old sock to put the powder in and placed it on the stain. I let it sit over night. Tucson already has high hard water, so I used it sparingly. It worked on most stains.

Do you need to lower chlorine levels before using this?

No. All chemicals should be in balance (normal levels) when you add this product.
