WS-RO-5G Clear Rust Off Rust and Hard Water Stain Remover, 5 gal Pail

We have a Voyager Spa that has two metal bands around it to hold it together. We also have 60 mph winds on a regular basis and the cover to the spa was being lifted and the spa was struggling to stay at temperature. I tied the cover down and with the wind still blowing, it caused the steam to escape and settle on the top metal band and water ran down the side and cause horrendous rust streaks. I thought the spa was ruined. I used this product and the spa looks like new. I didn't think it would work or I would have taken before and after pics. There was virtually no scrubbing. I purchased this product to remove rust stains from my concrete driveway. I followed the instructions and it did lighten the stains when the drive was dry, if it gets wet you can see the stain again really good. I tried to reapply two more times and it didn't improve the condition much. I tried it on some other rusted items I have and it didn't work like the videos at all. Going to get another rust remover to compare them like F9. I hope it works better, maybe that is the price you pay to use an environmentally safe product. As you can see by the picture it did lighten up, but the main source is still visible. Not sure if they have a money back guarantee, but I will check into it.

First try, I thought I missed a step. I re-read the directions and followed them again. Still nothing. All I have found out about this product is if the rust is fresh, really fresh it works. If not forget it.

Our water has high iron content and stains everything. This is the only product we found that works.

I was very excited about this product after seeing the videos on their web site. When it arrived I went to my motorcycle that has a little rust on some of the chrome and gave it a shot. It did remove some of the rust but not like the video showed. I am hoping to have some time soon to remove some of the parts and try imersing them in the rust off solution. Also be aware that this is an acid and it will react with aluminum and some plastics. It scares me some to spray it around my bike as I do not know how it will effect the paint. I will write more after I have a chance to use it more.

bought this product to remove rust stains off concrete. Did not work as it stated. was not impressed and would not recommend.

Don't waste your money if you intend on getting rust off of tools. I had a little rust on some of my tools. It basiclly turned the rust a dark brown and the shinny parts of my tools made them a very dull dark gray color. Now my tools look worse than they did with rust on them.

This stuff is okay but doesn't work as well as it is shown in the video. In the video they spray it on and a minute or two later wipe off the rust. Doesn't work like that at all. Matter of a fact if you spray it on fairly clean metal and forget to wipe it off the entire sprayed area will flash rust. Not bad but not great.
