Nexx X30.V Plain Helmet

Lighter than I expected, and the sun-visor is smoother than reviewed by a previous customer. A small plastic piece of the top vent seems to have been snapped off during shipping, but is doesn't take much to open or close the vent by hand. It is a snug fit as a large, so it may be worth order a size larger than you'd normally get. Quieter than my other helmets too.

Helmets seem to run small. My head size is 6 7/8 to 7 inch fitted hat. Thin and med jaw line. I ordered a Medium and had to exchange for a Large right off the bat. Fit was great with correct size (L). Quick release magnetic chin strap is awesome!!!!Most Nexx helmets will come with extra padding so you can adjust or add to your fit. Don't expect it with the X30.V.Styling is off the wall great for a Modular! Flip down Eye Shield is Great!With receiving 2 of these helmets both I have received had defects with the top exhaust vent switch. Both we broke off in the box. I am still in the process of the second return and have not road tested for wind noise and drag and what not. This being said I contacted Amazon. Hassle free returns but I do not want to run into receive strike 3 on the defective helmets. So I contacted Nexx to see if this clip switch could be mailed out. It took a week for them to decide against it. Apparently the inner foam has to be removed to get to the shell. This vent can be operated manually with a key or something thin if it does malfunction. If functioning god knows how long this will last in the field of play if it tends to break during shipment so easy.Thus being said. If ordered check this switch before order or on arrival.

I love it, you can feel the comfort by using it. I already had to use it due to a car crash and it saved my head from a big hit. This thing only received some minor scratches on the paint and however it works as a charm. Very good design and you may even feel like Ironman using this thing!

Just like a few other reviews said; the top vent actuator was broken off. The full face part feels like cheap plastic and you can squish it with one hand....will not take an impact from a wreck at all. Will just blast apart....they threw a 350 dollar price tag on a 50 dollar helmet....just garbage

Base on revzilla's fitment chart I ordered the large for my melon..:) little tight under the chin and quite close to the mouth, but that's the style of smaller shell, weight is 1620g somewhat heavy but its not that bad, since its my first helmet thus I am just happy to isolate myself form the element while I am out riding. Noise is not noticeable until 50 mph. Ventilation is adequate. Drop down shade mechanism can use some improvement.In addition, helmet go with my aprilia and we know images is everything!

The helmet is a great fit. Very easy to snap, with the quick release tab. The quick release tab is great quality. I do not think that it would unclip it self, and it certainly is not cheap quality clip or strap. This helmet also look amazing. Great for rider moral. It greatly reduces wind sound, but it is also still easy to hear your motorcycles natural sounds. Overall this is my forever helmet.

The internal screen got scratch the 1st time I put it down and also the lach for the modular chin broke after a month, I'm trying to fix this under the warranty but I don't know where to go. If anybody had the same problem I would appreciate if you can tell me where to claim this, thank you.

Ensure you measure for centimeters. I did and it fits perfect. People always compliment me on the helmet style. The top airflow switch was cracked upon receipt but I glued it and its been fine. A little noisy at high speeds but much better than my open face. Also, here's a big one, the tinted visor scratches itself when moving the visor up and down. Now I know why it was on sale. Overall still satisfied for what I paid.
