Scabos Travertine 2" Hexagon Mosaic Tile, Tumbled - Box of 5 sq. ft.

Just received them today and I am absolutely thrilled with these tiles. I was worried that the color might be too bold and busy, but it turns out the colors are VERY muted. They do not pop like they do in the stock photo listed above. The main coloring overall is light tan and light grey with flecks and minute marbling of slightly darker shades here and there. I can't wait to take a pic of the finished bathroom floor to update this review very soon. The pic will help explain what I cannot. I laid down five tiles and linked them together. They felt very nice under my bare feet. Also, they came very carefully packaged with a lot of insulation foam, and arrived on the earliest estimated day for delivery. Only a couple of tiles came unattached from the mesh, none were broken. I'll be ordering another five boxes very soon. Just a quick edit: each box has a slightly different coloring than the last batch, so I plan to take one tile from each of my five boxes and put them in one stack. Then, do that four more times until I have five mixed stacks for the best distribution of color.

Oddly the sample we received did not have the deep color hue and saturation of the product image. If you got the tile wet it would take on most of those colors but quickly faded to drab browns and faded earth tones. I tried putting tile sealer on them to see if that would keep them looking "wet" but that did not work. I'm glad I ordered the sample as it convinced me this was not the tile I wanted.

Well packaged, received in a timely fashion, affordable price, and beautiful stone! I purchased a couple boxes first, then ordered a large shipment because I liked it so much. Be sure to use a "wet-look" sealer on it to bring out the colors.

This is the second time I've ordered Scabos Travertine tile from Oracle. Three years ago I bought subway time for a kitchen backsplash and I liked it so much, I ordered the hexagon time for my shower floor. It looks amazing. I would not hesitate to order this product from Oracle.

This hexagon tile is beautiful! It matches the scabos line of tiles perfectly. I use this tile on the floor of my walk in shower room. I used a sealer and enhancer first in order to bring out the colors and patterns of this interesting tile. The sealer also protects the tiles from the effects of mortar and grout. The floor of the bathroom and the accent row of the shower are another version of the scabos line. It all works together and looks great. I used an off-white travertine subway tile for the shower walls as I did not want the shower area of this small bathroom to be too dark. It looks lovely.Attached here are the hexagon tiles before and after applying the sealer. The price was much better than anything local. I'm very happy with this purchase. (I'm not quite done with the tiling, this is a work-in-progress photo. Shower floor needs to be cleaned and sealed one more time.)

Vendor shipped in warp-speed time. Quality is excellent; no broken tiles. Liked the tile so much after installing in a shower floor, I ordered some more for the outside atrium walkway. Would definitely recommend!
