Easy to use!
I like being able to turn off the (12V 100 AH) battery completely (with circuit breaker) and the Watt Hours are saved! It also saves the Back-Light mode! If I turn off the display back-lighting, it will stay off when the battery is disconnected and reconnected. It's easy to reset the Watt Hours to Zero with a long-hold on the button. A short hold changes the back-light mode to OFF or ON.The Amp and Volt meter accuracy is very close to my VOM & Clamp-on Amp meter. I used a hammer and drill and made a busbar from a flattened copper pipe. Connected it to the meter's Negative Terminal and the Negative Terminal of the battery. This a great way to track how many Amp Hours remain in the battery!

Easy install.
Installed in my buddy's camper trailer. Seems to do the trick to monitor the battery. Following the directions, the unit is always on, so I put both hot leads on the charger side, which has a kill switch. This way when the kill switch has the battery disconnected, the unit is not powered and causing a drain. Easy enough install otherwise.

Small Wires too short hard to extend
It was supposed to be minimalist, it would have if you don't need to extend the tester voltage the wire provided uses those 2 pin JST connectors, thus if you want to extend the wire you have to splice it on the current wire or have a JST crimper. This wire I believe is 22 AWG so its really thin, so its hard to make its sturdy. so provided wire is almost a foot long. Anyway I would have preferred screwed on terminal. Its cheap but there are cheaper version.

Good overall meter
The meter is nice and easy to wire up. The SOC portion is nicer than I figured it would be. Love the fact that you can reset all accumulative parameters. Wish it had another button versus the short/long press of a single button. The shut, while works, is cheap and questionable.

Installed on my golf cart when I change my batteries from lead acid to lithium.
It shows my charging voltage of my batteries and it shows the amp draw of the motor at different speeds. I'm still try to figure out the amp hours. There is not a lot of information out there on lithium batteries. So I'm sure that I'm staying with in the limits of the equipment.

It burned out within the first 24 hours.
It seemed to be working fine for the first 16 hours or so but by hour 18 I smelled a weird smell came to check it out and heard a pop seeing smoke come from it. I hurried to disconnect it.

You don't want it
Not difficult to connect. Impossible to program. Instructions were written by a person who did not know English language. Difficult to even read. It worked one day without programming. Second day it was dead. All zeroes.

dc meter working grate montoring the 12 volt system in my travel trailer for power usage
working great so far only have had it hooked up less then 12 hours, but like the features it offers using it more for discharge on the sytem to calculate power usage. on the 12 volt side to determin a battery bank and solar i will need to add for off grid use.
