Still wonderful and useful case now!
Favorite kneaded eraser, picks up a lot of charcoal, graphite, pastel, conte crayon without tearing the paper. Also, lasts a long time before needing to be replaced or thrown out. Doesn’t leave too much of white mark on black or dark paper. Can still be decently formed into a smaller piece for detailed reductive techniques. It is a softer and more mailable texture than the Prismacolor eraser, which I like, but may not be for you if don’t like it to be too soft. Great for clean up on mat boards as well! Love that they come with a case now, to keep off any other detritus from who knows where.

These are great! Come in individual cases so between uses - they can stay clean.

Faber-Castell is the best!
I’ve been a professional artist and arts educator for several decades. I use only Faber-Castell kneaded erasers for graphite, charcoal, pastel etc. I highly recommend them. Other brands can not compare - not even close!

The only kneaded erasers I will use
I am a portrait and character artist and I have used a few kneaded erasers before, but none work as effectively as these. I work with many fine details and these do an excellent job of picking up mistakes or even lightening some specific spots I filled in with graphite. They stretch very well and can be molded to pick up tiny details or stretched to get rid of the graphite smudges I make when my hand rests on the paper. With graphite, they last a very long time and it can hold a lot of graphite. They last a lot longer for charcoal drawings as well, as I have noticed compared to other erasers. They are very kind to paper and can do a lot of heavy lifting, though I do use a normal rubber eraser when getting rid of particularly big or dark areas.

Good product, price a little higher than at local store
They are not as big as what the pictures lead you to believe. I found the same item and brand for less at Hobby Lobby. But they are good erasers for artists. My granddaughter was very happy with them.

I use them for lightening the pencil marks on watercolor paper before painting. Work great!
If you don’t have kneadable erasers like this, believe me, you need them. Especially if you draw pencil on watercolor paper that you want to erase a bit before you paint. Good value, last a long time. They pick up the lead marks sort of like silly putty used to pick up the print on comics (for those of you old enough to remember that pastime. ) And there are enough in this package to share!

Great product - would not recommend buying here unless price comes down
Kneaded erasers are a handy thing to have when sketching, and these are pretty good kneaded erasers. They pick up graphite well and the storage case is convenient for keeping them clean, which makes them last longer. They aren't so sticky that they tear your paper, but they're sticky enough that they can be used to lighten lines and shading without too much effort. I don't use these to try to fully erase a mark and they probably wouldn't do a good job of that, but if you're looking to simply lighten up a section of your sketch, they work great. However, the price it's offered at here is a bit ridiculous. I bought it when it was $7.50, and even that is higher than it's available elsewhere, but it was worth it to me because I had a gift card balance I wanted to use to buy my art supplies. However, these should cost less than $1 per (or around $4 total for the set) and as of the time I'm writing this review, they're over three times that cost. If you're looking for a good kneaded eraser, this is a good option. But unless you've got an amazon gift card balance that you want to make your art supply purchases from, I'd first look for a free shipping promotion on an art supply store's website and buy it there instead. Or maybe shop around and see if someone else is selling these on amazon under a different listing - maybe even in individual quantities. Unless you're doing complicated pencil sketches every day, for hours a day, it'd take a long time to use up all four of these, so if you just want something to use right now, you really only need one.
