Excellent additional safety for heavier lampshades
I have some quite heavy vintage glass lampshades which I wasn't prepared to hang simply with the wire terminals taking all the weight. These are perfect and give much greater security to all the cheaper light fixings which don't have anything integral

Great accessory
I used these to ‘repair’ some old light fittings. The light fittings originally came with integral grub screw grips which eventually became brittle and broke. I was able to fix these into the lights thereby giving them a new lease of life.
