This is a review of "Protein Works - Raze Extreme Pre Workout | Creatine, Caffeine & Beta Alanine | Energy Drink | Watermelon Breeze | 30 Servings" I ordered this for my son, along with the Sour Cherry & Apple variety. He does a lot of high intensity training in the gym, and likes to take a pre-workout shake. This one tastes pretty good. It does need some vigorous shaking in the shaker bottle to get it (mostly) dissolved and there is still a little residue left behind. he particularly likes that it contains caffeine - a pre-workout supplement without caffeine is (he says) 'like a beer without the alcohol'. This is a reputable UK brand and appears to be effective. - - - - - - - - - - Note: As a member of the Vine program I was supplied with this item free of charge. Not strong

This has to be my favourite tasting pre-workout so far, and I've tried my fair share of them. The drink is enjoyable to have, the powder mixes perfectly in water. The price is in line with other similar preworkout tubs. I found it doesn't give as much of a kick as some others, but one serving is more than enough for a good session.

Excellent pre workout drink which is easy to mix up, tastes great and really makes a difference to energy levels to get you through your workout. I definitely found this to be effective at maximising my workout. Would recommend

Long time TPW customer. Went searching for their pre workout and found they've changed it. Higher price per 100g in fancy tub. That's me out.

The watermelon taste is delicious. It is well flavoured when made with 350ml of water, as per the instructions. Do weigh out the powder. I found I was getting about 3.7g per level scoop. A serving size is 12g, and the directions states 4 scoops. Which would be well above a recommended serving. Mixes easily when made as per the directions and shaken in a water bottle. I have shone a torch all over the tub and cannot find a printed batch number and BBE date. They are supposed to be located on the base, but aren't. Whether they were supposed to be printed directly on the base or were on a paper price gun applied sticker which fell off, or wasn't applied; I do not know. Arrived with a seal over the opening of the tub for safety, freshness, and peace of mind. The product contains fillers and/or binders. I like how the colour is from beetroot powder and is not something artificial. The flavouring may be artificial because it does not specify a natural watermelon flavouring in the list of ingredients.

Love the flavour on this one as it is not overly sweet like some others. Gives a great boost before workouts and mixes easily with no lumps. I've felt more focused and energised, so well worth a try. Definitely one I’ll keep using.
