STANLEY 2-46-028 Combination Die Cast Square, 300mm/ 12''

I first purchased this combination square as a gift for a friend in the Netherland where they cannot be found. I chose this one because it is marked in both inches and centimeters. I was so impressed with the design, construction, and materials that I bought one for myself, as well. I love all of the threaded brass fittings. No plastic at all. That said, I've used other combo squares that have a more ergonomic handle. So maybe 4 1/2 stars.

Love the metric and standard measure marks. Also easy to find in my tool box

I ordered this same square a few months ago and got the one made in from England that works perfectly. I reordered and got one that is completely non-functional. The black locking screw is cheap plastic and doesn't work!! If you get one that has a black plastic locking screw instead of the brass one in the product listing, then you got the crap from China. Send it back and try again.

I had one that was made from England and I loved it, I thought I would get the same thing. It seems to work but it is not what I wanted

I liked it specially after a lot of research because sellers makes it hard to find a good product without wasting your time returning products that doesn’t match what you did see and monitoring refunds because most of the time they won’t refund without you talking to customer service once or twice Anyway I liked this tool and material is really goo, Highly recommended if you’re a beginner in wood work like me..

Excelente calidad, como suelen ser todos los productos de esta marca. Sólida, ancha y no se mueve absolutamente nada una vez que la aprietas bien. Un consejo de alguien que la usa todos los días: no os asustéis si no viene perfectamente escuadrada al 100%. Es casi imposible encontrar productos que vengan perfectos cuando se han fabricado en serie. Lo bueno, y la razón por la que le doy 5 estrellas aunque la mía venía ligerísimamente desviada, es que con estas escuadras es bastante fácil ajustar la unión y conseguir los 90 grados perfectos. Solo hay que buscar en internet "Adujsting a combination square" y veréis un vídeo muy sencillo que os enseña cómo. 10 minutos de paciencia y tendréis una escuadra totalmente fiable.
