Little People fun for Big People
To be honest, I’m an adult (more or less) and bought this to display on my desk. Unless I get grandchildren, it won’t be opened, so I can’t address issues that parents might be interested in.I’ve watched ‘The Christmas Story’ Christmas after Christmas, and usually multiple times. Occasionally, I sneak out the dvd and watch it at other times during the year.This is a movie that a lot of people cherish, and this ‘Little People Collector’ set is an excellent representation of the movie and the characters from the movie.The ‘Little People’ don’t look exactly like the characters they represent, but you’ll recognize them nonetheless.With nice touches like the pink bunny suit, the leg lamp and the coats and scarves, you instantly recognize the characters you love so much.I didn’t see the details when I ordered this, and I’ve laughed repeatedly since it arrived. The lamp and the bunny suit are so iconic, and bring back memories of some of the funniest, most insane and most heartwarming moments from the film.For @ $20, this is so much fun. I bought a house plant at the same time and killed it already. Plants usually love me, so my point is that this is something you can enjoy for a long time.When you consider other things you might use to decorate or liven up your home or office space, this is big fun at a relatively small price.It’s one of the few things on my desk that doesn’t require constant watering or a dozen different cords. That’s kind of nice, too.

Oh My Gosh, So Adorable!!
We love A Christmas Story and this was the perfect gift to receive. The detail of each character depiction is so good. I love the packaging with the background scene. We use this for decoration at Christmas, but it would be a cute child's toy as it is a Little People brand (which my granddaughter loves). The kids would love it. Would definitely buy again.

I am collecting some of these fir nostalgia reasons. They arrived in great shape. I am collecting for myself with no intent to sell in future. They are great quality if I chose to use for a child's play as well.
