Compac Compac Quiktop Can Cap, Red, Keep Drinks Fresh & Fizzy - Turn Cans Into Bottles (Pack of 3)

Honestly after hours of research, I picked this product despite people saying it’s hard to get off. This is true, if you have trouble opening jars and such in general. However, I bought these for my husbands energy drinks and he has no issues getting them on and off. Works great!

Hard to detach

First Alot of reviews said its hard to remove which is not true.. my 9 yo daughter can easily take it off (maybe they fixed the design since then?) Just squease the two red tabs..and it pops right off. Seals and keeps bugs out ,seems to keep the fizz longer than not having one.The cons for me are the cap which is big and bulky, would have preferred and cap more like a bottle of soda, and the screen inside the insert which makes the flow of the liquids feel weird.

Don't waste your money. This product does not work at all. I left a soda in the fridge with the quiktop can cap and when I opened again the soda was flat. A waste of money.

Like the headline said. I managed to break one of the three trying to get it onto a can, since the package they come in includes no instructions whatsoever. There was a "welcome to the Compac family" card in there, so they COULD have included instructions, but they didn't. And without those instructions, getting the things onto and off of cans is an absolute PAIN. Having studied the broken one, I was able to determine how to work the remaining two, and I only really needed one, so that works. I just wish they had included instructions - the product video attached to the product images is 100% WORTHLESS for showing you how the product actually works!For those who need instructions as I did: You have to twist off the cap to get at the mechanism that allows you to securely place it onto a can. Trying with the cap in place can break the quiktop, the can, or both. You also need to open the can before attaching the quiktop, since it blocks all access to the tab when in place. Removal is much simpler, though again, you will want to have the cap unscrewed first. And it should be noted, this plastic gets a little brittle when cold, so be sure to warm the quiktop up before trying to remove it, if the can it's on is cold.

It does what it claims to do BUT…I can’t believe how difficult it is to remove the Quiktop cap off of the can! If it wasn't so difficult to remove I would’ve given it a 5 star! It maintained the fizz in my energy drink. But it’s so dang hard to remove the Quiktop! I had to run hot water on my empty can & the Quiktop cap, as I pressed on the 2 tabs of the Quiktop cap w/my thumb & index finger. Then, it came off!! I like the Quiktop, but you’ve got to develop a much better way to remove it. If you follow this advice, I’m telling, you’ll have MUCH better sales!

The media could not be loaded.  Absolutely love this thing! My toddler has been grabbing our drinks lately and trying to steal sips. I like drinking out of a can vs pouring into a cup, especially since he can get into most cups anyway. I was looking for a can topper to keep him out and found this. Just got it today and I'm already obsessed. I think all of the negatives about this are about removing it, but they must not know how to do it, because it's SO easy. I added a video to show how you do it, but you just push down on the grey tab and push in on one of the tall sides and it pops right off. Actually, after playing around with it, I don't think you even need to push the grey tab. Just do one of the tall sides and it will pop off on that side. It's totally leak proof and you can put the cap on the bottom of the can so that you don't lose it/acts as a coaster. 10/10 so far!
